Sounds like poo
What makes it sound like poo. I think its good they arenât doing the same old Big Brother. I will pass judgment when I see it go to air.
Thatâs why I think it should be rebranded and not just called Big Brother. Otherwise itâs destined to fail as the Australian audiences will be expecting what it used to be. Rename to Big Brother: Head of Household or something.
This has flop written all over it. Why they would alienate the showâs loyal fan base is beyond me.
But the line between success and flop changes greatly depending on how much production costs. If the production costs are low enough, then even with a smaller audience it might be considered a success by 7.
They are. It is called âBig Brother: Revolutionâ apparently.
Absolutely. However Iâm sure 7 wonât be happy sitting in second or third position in the ratings war.
Would they care if it improves the time slot in the demos?
They have promised an 80% increase in the 25-54 audience for Big Brotherâs timeslot so they are expecting the show to be a big success which I donât think it will be. Also it will be weird sending the housemates home and then bringing them all back again for the finale.
They have announced they are expecting an 80% increase in the 25-54 audience for Big Brotherâs timeslot.
Itâs a different show though. Itâs the production company that wanted to take the show in a new direction. Donât judge until you see the final concept.
I am just saying as a huge fan of BB the more information that comes out about 7âs concept for it the more it sounds unappealing.
At least youâre consistent. I think this was your 50 millionth post that has declared it so.
As a huge Big Brother fan shouldnât you be excited to see how it has evolved? I just donât get those that are stuck in the past and wanting remakes of their favourite old shows. Yes, personally I would have loved a traditionally Big Brother as well. But I am also excited to see how this turns out, good or bad.
It will tank. Just like most of Sevenâs programming outside of the 6:00pm news.
It will start high and end low most likely.
I agree, it will rate high upon launch purely for the curiosity factor of it being âBig Brotherâ. Just like when it launched on NINE back in 2012 to a peak of 2.1 Million people, it then quickly sank to an average of 900,000 in some weeks. People are watching the name rather than the show itself. Once people realise it isnât Big Brother, the possible 1 million that may watch it to start will quickly sink to a figure of 500,000-600,000 at best I predict.
how did ch10 go with this program back in 2001 - 2008 Dennis Wilson?
what Figure?
Averages
2001: 1.4 Million
2002: 1.5
2003: 1.7
2004: 1.5
2005: 1.2
2006: 1.3
2007: 1.07
