TikTok streaming is great so far, much better than 10(play)
However there’s no ads so 10 can’t generate revenue unless they have a scrolling banner with ads or product placement.
10 will benefit from TikTok if it drives younger viewers to watch on live tv or on 10 play. But it viewers just want to watch on TikTok there won’t be much benefit for 10
I think something 10 could do for next time, if this season does well is that they could have the live stream on 10livestream of what they currently have with cameras swapping regularly etc & then have something on Paramount+ which has 1 angle of kitchen, 1 livingroom, 1 for outside, 1 or 2 in the bedroom, 1 bathroom etc and viewers can choose what they want to listen and watch etc but that’s for paramount+ people only
There has been the 2026 what’s on 10 promo being played on tiktok. I also think it’s only in TikTok for a limited time - probably 2-3 days and then people would have to swap to 10livestream
Should certainly have an ad free option on Paramount+ but six feeds is unrealistic and not worth the cost. Even those that still offer 4 feeds generally only effectively offer 2 with different camera angles on both.

It did better than I was expecting. Let’s see where it goes from here. I suspect it will drop.
What I don’t understand is, what are they really censoring? If the live stream is rated MA (where most content is acceptable). I mean we’re not talking about broadcast here.
Pretty much infrequent/non-overly aggressive C-words & non-stop F-bombs, graphic sexual innuendo, references to hard drugs, discussion of taboo and aberrant thematics and discreet full frontal nudity are all allowed.
It’s really only porn and simulated extreme violence (both of which are not going to appear in BB) that get 18+ (X and R). You rarely see any other content given R, it does happen, but its rare they exceed MA and are deemed harmful to even 15, 16 and 17 year old and potentially offensive to a reasonable adult.
When Mel said “live stream will conform to regulatory standards” or whatever, I just assumed she meant anything R rated will be excised. But clearly this isn’t the case, should just change the live stream rating to M or PG then and put up a disclaimer “this live stream will not be like BB Uncut or 2000s stream” LOL.

I’ve said at least 20-30% as people start making up their minds about whether this is their cup of tea.

the live stream still has to be moderated/censored for anything that could be considered libellious or defamatory or legally sensitive, etc.

Those are rightful cases to censor content.
They pretty much got it wrong though because it’s rarely one person talking at a time, and the usual shortcut solution is the laundry room or the garden.
For minutes on end sometimes.

They also have to censor for things as simple as copyright music - though the housemates should be aware not to sing or hum music, they might forget.

Those are fair points actually.
All the more reason they should’ve produced an uncut show then, like we used to get, even just once a week or only for 10 on-demand even.

One of the other big things are personal stories mentioning names etc, because its one thing to say “ i had an ex who was abusive” to “my ex kel McMahon bashed me”, it’d be courtcase central
