Big Brother

We’re voting in new housemates on Day 2.

So… yep, say it with me, like the UK version. (Except that one voted 4 in.)

WE FINALLY HAVE THE TRAIN STATION AD:

Which I don’t mind, I only recently got into BBUK (S19 onwards) and am a fan.

Aren’t the other overseas versions of BB just a house set inside a soundstage too? Was Australia the only one with a purpose-built “house” in the original Ten/Nine run?

That’s pretty much how these shows run now. It’s all just social media driven and we have seen this on Love Island. The BB of 20 years ago is about as real as one will get, those days are gone, the world has changed, and the fakeness of today’s reality TV is just the new norm.

I think the main issue is if there was a ceiling and all rooms were enclosed it would be fine.

Agree a purpose built compound these days is unlikely, but there isn’t really an excuse for no ceilings. Even 7 did that for the last 2 houses. You could easily pipe the aircon down from the above vents through it, and do lighting like they have already done in the bedroom.

Cheaper to construct.

The watermark ticks over to …

Will it get a redesign to just hours and minutes on Saturday or read 0 Days?

I think we could thank K&JO’s latest IG reel if this is the actual 2025 remix cut.

Likely it will include hours, minutes and seconds. Let’s see 7pm tomorrow!

Could they go hours, minutes, second?

Has there been any w/m with the 10 logo since the countdown was added?

From B&T’s wrap of 10’s upfronts

In the lead-up to the new season’s launch, there are many ways for audiences to interact with Big Brother. Polls on Instagram and TikTok allowed users to vote on house design, including colours and furniture, as well as other decisions. That method of interaction will only ramp up as the season kicks off.

While both Tracina and (executive producer Sarah) Thornton were tight-lipped about the ways that this new season will use social media and brands to connect viewers with the show, Tracina ensured us “there’ll be lots of surprises across different platforms and the ways that we’re planning to deliver the content”. B&T understands that Matso’s Ginger Beer is coming aboard as the season’s drinks sponsor.

“I love reality TV, and I have no shame in admitting it! I hope to bring that passion and enjoyment of watching TV to my role as host for this season,” Tracina, who is best known for Cheap Seats and Have You Been Paying Attention?, told B&T.

The pair also teased that contestants will be embedded in the Dreamworld park in a new way, too, allowing visitors to interact with housemates in an unprecedented fashion.

I’m glad they have included hotdogs in this season. Wouldn’t feel the same without him.
