Nobody is stopping you. I’m just saying there’s a lot of chatter about something that has not even been announced.

It might be funny if Nine extended their option/contract with Big Brother just to thwart Seven. It’s happened before.

He is right it is coming back. They basically announced it on Sunrise. 7 wouldn’t be making those comments about the show if it weren’t coming back.

yeah, Seven does not cancell Sunday simply to save money !

This appears to be a terrible decision by Seven - hopefully they’ve got something that completely freshens it up - this show became forgettable bogans in a house, and just the absolute tackiest of television.

Did you guys watch Mel on Sunday Tonight?
She was shot in front on an entertainment background instead of the usual Sunday Night backdrop.

I can See Seven doing the same for big brother, if she has the job, like being an on screen host for the daily shows and maybe even for the nominations!

 Can you stop saying that?

Yep, I wanted to get an authentic experience

But seriously, it was only like 8 hours of my 72 hour long weekend.

I was listening to the TVBlackbox podcast and it was discussed Emma Willis was a contenstant on the UK version before becoming a host. I don’t remember her on it. But didn’t watch early season. What season was she in? I couldn’t find anything about this online.

She wasn’t a contestant.

I had a quick look at her wiki profile - Emma wasn’t a Housemate, but did host the some of the secondary shows (like Bit on the Side) before becoming the main host.

But according to his wiki profile, Rylan (who was the most recent host of BotS before the BBUK got axed), was a Housemate on a Celebrity Season. He had auditioned for a Civilian Season and was about to go in the house but was pulled as his identity as a Housemate for that year’s show was leaked by the press. He later did other shows including X-Factor and became “famous” enough to do CBBUK.

It was also mentioned on the podcast by Rob that reports suggest Gretel turned down the job and Chrissie Swan could be a potential contender and said on her radio show this morning that she would love to do it.

Chrissie would be a good choice.

There was a woeful host called Brian Dowling when the show first went to 5 who was a two-time former contestant.

As a host he made a good contestant!

Emma never was

Thanks guys. I didn’t think she was but had to make sure as I didn’t watch the earlier seasons. I knew she was hosting other things before Big Brother and when I was living in the UK the guy was hosting Big Brother and she was doing one of the companion shows.

“That would be my dream job,” Swan said. “Truly, I would love it. I’ve always said I would do that.”
