I don’t like any of these promos. They are so juvenile and tacky. Surely this Mel Tracina has more class than what they’re dishing up. She’s behaving like a 14 year old.

Have you watched the cheap seats? This is kinda how she actually is… Haven’t seen her Nova show but would imagine she’s the same there too.

I’ve seen her on cheap seats and she’s a lightweight on entertainment but somewhat humorous at times. But these promos are worse and won’t attract an audience. She seems like a vapid dim wit when in reality she isn’t stupid. These ads are very niche.
Better than any promos 9 and 7 have served up when they had BB.

A bit silly, but it shows a certain eagerness and enthusiasm for BB from Mel that I find a little endearing.
As a host for BB (such an involved format - with 24/7 access and audience voting), I want someone who is excited to see the action with us viewers.

I actually think Mel T was an inspired choice for host. She genuinely loves reality television and will love being a part all the drama. She brings a youthfulness and coolness which will help attract the next generation of fans to watch BB. She’s quick on her feet, witty, funny, well spoken and charismatic. I think she’ll do an excellent job

Mel Tracina reveals if Big Brother Uncut is making a comeback
The new host of Channel 10’s Big Brother has finally answered the question everyone wants to know: Will there be an adults-only version?
For starters, the house has returned to its original home at Dreamworld, where the first 11 seasons of the reality program were filmed between 2001 to 2014.
“The Big Brother house is synonymous with Dreamworld, so bringing the OG format to its OG location feels right,” new host Mel Tracina told news.com.au.
The host said viewers will be able to watch all the action from the house via a live stream 24/7, but added, “again, that will be moderated to make sure that everything we broadcast is up to broadcast standards”.
That admission will no doubt disappoint many Gen X’ers and Millennials who spent their younger years sneaking a look at the adults-only version of the show, hoping for a bit of nudity or some scandalous late-night chat (this writer included).
Tracina told news.com.au that this year’s housemates have been selected and are now going through final checks and approvals before entering the house on Sunday, November 9.

I think channel 10 do deserve some credit: they’ve made some quite bold and inspired hosting choices recently with Mel T for Big Brother, Rebecca G for Millionaire, Gretel K for Traitors and Rob I for I’m a Celeb. They’ve taken personalities who are reasonably well known and well liked and taken a chance on them in an area slightly outside of what they’re typically known for.
Good to see they’ve moved on from the days of having Osher host everything.

Also, not related to the above news - 10 aren’t showing Big Brother repeats during the day, like they did with other reality shows. Or any uplate versions. Bummer re no late night offerings for us few night owls.

Didn’t someone say before that it was good that they were not going to air Jamie Oliver, but in another time slot? Well they spoke too soon! Doesn’t anyone remember what happened with WIN in 2017?
