Here’s hoping the new revival still rocks the throwback logo by the time it premieres!

And looks like on-air promotions could be imminent?

Mentions summer. So maybe it’s going to run until December?

Australia’s OG reality TV show is back to its birthplace on Network 10 in Q4 and is set to sizzle in summer

They’ll advertise this now and nothing else… whoop-de-doo.
10 News+ is about to shrivel up and die.

Given Big Brother Canada did this, it’s an excellent strategy for the Aussie version for thos\ with no lives to watch it.

When 10 announced last September about BB returning to the network, Seven issued a legal letter to Endemol Shine Australia, advising it still had a hold back on the format until mid 2025.

10 is waiting for Seven’s hold back to finish before releasing further information, including how to apply to take part.

Big Brother a) airing in Spring and b) finishing in December would bring a different dynamic to the show.

Could they finally do a year-round schedule and run it from Oct- Jan, leading into I’m a celeb?

They’re not going to have it over the Christmas period. They’ll air it until the second week of December at the latest.

Why not? It could be a point of difference with no real opposition on air.

Agreed. Would be a nice point of difference

Because you have to pay people to work over Christmas. The job ads that went out next week suggest it’ll be wrapped up in early December.

Has a series ever run with the housemates in there over Xmas and New Year?

Wishful thinking?

Hmm seems like it’s two people standing on the top
Of the giant drop.
It does use the same glitch effect as the BB teaser promo though.

Mel and Mike :eyes:

Some comments are suggesting it could be an attraction where you can climb the Dreamworld Tower but that doesn’t really explain the glitch you mentioned.

TBH it would be a large investment to rebuild the house and studio (in very little time too). For a reboot that I don’t think will last two or three seasons.

and if they did i wonder if its endemol fronting up the cash or dreamworld. I can’t imagine dreamworld wanting to stump up that sort of cash, especially given they just recently had some major capex with the move of wiggles world and the complete rebuild of rivertown and the building of jungle rush

It has been reported to be returning to the Gold Coast.

Is Big Brother Australia returning to Dreamworld? Production ‘confirms’ upcoming reboot is returning to Gold Coast - after the original house burned down in 2019

‘Endemol Shine Australia is looking for Queensland-based post production crew available to work on-site for the return of Big Brother,’ read the post.

I know Biggest loser used to be filmed with a christmas break. So theyd send the contestants home ( which is why at weigh in thered be some big losses as it was 2 weeks in reality).

In terms of BB, didnt somewhere in Europe run it for a year?
