Is it exclusive because no other outlet was interested in interviewing them?
I was tempted to comment âWho?â
It was not an exclusive, I interviewed the girls and it was up 10am on 7th December. I have only posted it to streaming platforms like Spotify, Amazon etc at this time. I will put the âstoryâ post on the site tonight. They also did some other interviews on radio etc,
I didnât say it was exclusive, the Blackbox article did. I donât really care. I canât imagine there are too many people waiting patiently to hear from them.
No worries. I was not suggesting you did say it was an exclusive. I was just adding some extra info to your comment
Having just watched a short snippet of this, my god what have they done to it, itâs like Love Island met the Bachelor. How could anyone not see this train crash inside 7?
I assume whoever pitched this to 7 execs have been fired?
I actually didnât mind the original reboot, the one with Daniel Gorringe in it, didnât rate that bad either.
By way of comparison the first episode of that season had around 850,000 for the first episode and 875,000 for the winner announcement. Way to destroy a franchise.
Given what 7 did to BB, I assume someone at 7 wanted to get rid of BB and made this season as trashy and cheap as possible because it was their final year of the contract, to deter their competitors from possibly picking the show up.
Or maybe it just plain sucked.
It sucked because 7 destroyed everything that made BB good in the first place. There is a reason no other country around the world has adopted 7âs pre-recorded Survivor in a house format.
Whoever thought up the House of Love format for this season of BB also clearly has no idea what they are doing.
WhĂ ts Gretel Killeen doing at the moment maybe her and Sonia can co host a live version on ch 9 or 10 or heaven forbid ch 7
Itâs dead now. Give it another decade and try again.
Killeen is the smart one and probably isnât interested.
I agree with you on this but there is no way they purposefully destroyed their own product.
BB UK was also flopping when it was cancelled back in 2018 and now it has come back after 5 years and is a great success because ITV took it back to basics. Especially on streaming, where episodes have been streamed 38 million times.
A similar comeback is possible here on hopefully channel 10 as they had showed interest in bringing back the show in the past.
According to this article: Sevenâs Angus Ross and Kurt Burnette wrap up 2023
Uncut has been doing fantastic streaming numbers for us, as is the series as a whole. This series was commissioned for 7plus initially, and we then were looking as to how much exposure we give the show on the main channel. I said to give it some exposure at 7:30, and that lasted a week
Haha what a load ofâŚ
Haha biggest load of shit
Yeah ⌠most definitely trying to save face.
If thatâs the case then why did it move to 8:30pm? If it was just for initial exposure then it should have moved exclusively to 7Plus after week 1.
