Both episodes of Big Brother have rated lower than the first episodes of Blow Up that was bumped off the main channel after 2 eps.
Well if it’s meant to be as “sexy” as some are suggesting, I’m sure there’s some balloon like things in the house they could get creative with
Seven has responded to a low launch for Big Brother by moving it to 8:30pm from next Monday.
A raunchy Big Brother Uncut is yet to premiere at 9:30pm Thursday on 7plus, but won’t be enough to redeem the timeslot.
Unfortunately, I can’t see Seven doing another season. The damage has been done.
7 knew exactly what they were doing waiting over a year to air this. How can any season thats been filmed for only 22 days be good? It takes a lot of effort to screw up a show this bad…
Seven’s terribly produced version of BB is going to cost them the year to Nine.
Surely next year’s season must be under a cloud.
Anyone surprised with this news?
Bumped to 8.30 next week. Surely 7flix the following week? lol.
Would not be surprised if this was the case at all.
To be fair, Seven have become experts at screwing up reality tentpoles…
push for Seven to sell the rights to the Big Brother format to another broadcaster
This version of Big Brother seems so contemptuous of viewers. Glad it hasn’t been rewarded.
To be fair, they’re lucky to even be in the race, with Nine’s cricket coverage including The Ashes. The only thing that’s kept them in the race for the year is the World Cup and Matildas fever.
They made the decision to let the Olympics go for the next decade or so, so they need to have some solid programming all year, as they won’t have Olympics and Winter Olympics to prop themselves up.
Their tent poles are either not working, or not that flash, and post 8.30 is very ordinary at best. H&A isn’t cutting it at 7pm and breakfast overall is not as strong as it was.
Nine wins the afternoons now.
Their 5pm and 6pm hours are the only things they have left.
And the AFL, basically the driver of Friday and Saturday shares for 6 months
Isn’t this the second year in a row 7 have claimed the year prematurely and then lost to 9?
Yep agree. I think there will be concerns next year for Seven.
It won’t be back in seven surely.
Media are going to be vicious following this ‘bump’ and the show won’t survive. Hopefully they drop it and ten nab it for a reboot in a couple of years
Seven have the rights to produce another season next year if they choose to. But I think it’s evident after the poor performance of this one it won’t be back, even in a different format.
Wonder who had the idea for it to be like this , 7 or Endemol.
I haven’t seen this new season but I assume it is worse than the VIP one .
It feels like a 7 saying “ I hear those children like that Love Island show. Make that please”.
