Who knows? The current format doesn’t provide viewers any sort of chronological rundown of daily events, the producers just pick and choose whatever scenes support their overall narrative.

Waiting Game

Ticking time bomb for Tim and Brenton

Tonight on Big Brother , Temptation Week went to new heights with the week’s shopping task: The Crane of Temptation.

Proving too much to resist, the temptation to hear from their loved ones on video and in the flesh left the housemates with just $80 for their weekly shopping budget.

Heartbroken and still reeling from Dave’s exit, the OGs set their sights on Brenton and Jules, as Tim and Estelle rose above their differences to bring down the intruders.

The reveal of the Waiting Room brought the game crashing down with Head of House Johnson banishing rivals Tim and Brenton to the secretive space.

In the nominations challenge, the housemates were paired up to steer five balls on a track from one end to the other, avoiding the potholes. Jaycee and Taras made the right moves to win safety from house nominations.

Reggie recruited newbies Johnson and Jaycee in her plot to nominate the intruders and, when the housemates learnt their fate, Jules knew she was fighting for her life in bottom three with Drew and Estelle.

Tomorrow night on Big Brother : The battle line between the intruders and Big Brother royalty explodes as Reggie sharpens the knife, while Tim and Brenton form a secret alliance in the Waiting Room.

To highlight how edited the show is, in tonight’s episode in the space of only two and a half minutes we saw Reggie in the diary room - each time wearing different clothes!

That happened last week too.

That’s right, it happens all the time. It’s amazing that they think people won’t notice.

Enemies become allies in the Waiting Room

Tonight on Big Brother , Temptation Week once again provided a distraction for the housemates.

Tully and Jules couldn’t resist snacking on KFC, ignoring the task at hand in the Panic Room and landing yet another punishment for the entire house.

While in the Waiting Room, Tim and Brenton forged a secret alliance before discovering the game-changing decision Big Brother wanted them to make.

At the second chance challenge, the nominated housemates were suspended like puppets and had to avoid falling down. Estelle held strong to win safety from eviction, leaving Drew and Jules on the chopping block.

With eviction looming, Jules pleaded to the newbies and Drew sought salvation from old friends, realigning himself with the OGs.

But at the eviction, Big Brother ’s latest twist sent shock waves into the house. Tim and Brenton’s wait ended with an opportunity to control the game, and when the duo accepted the offer to send one of the nominated housemates home without knowing who was up for eviction, every other vote was cancelled.

In the diary room. Tim and Brenton made a massive play and claimed their first victim: Jules.

Next week: Big Brother dials up the danger with plenty of shocks in store. Alliances are tested when a pretty picnic turns sour and a shocking betrayal leaves Reggie rattled.

I literally haven’t been paying attention, but what is this show doing? Ratings wise. Is anyone watching?

It’s rating around 350-370k in the overnights, 4th in its timeslot. But it is the number 1 streamed program on TV at the moment and lifts heavily when streaming and regional numbers are added in. For example last Mondays episode lifted from 378k to 846k.

Overnight that is worse than the regular series last year?

If BB is doing so well on catch up/streaming or wherever, could it survive on a multichannel for another season? Or would the 300k audience become half of that? If it could manage 200k would it be worth it?

I think Big Brother could easily help launch a new streaming service for 7 by going live like the 10 days. It has no place on FTA anymore.

I think it does have place on FTA. Do the evictions and key live shows on FTA. But yes the potential which I have banged on for years, with the show being able to be in the core of social media and the digital word is immense. The fact no one has cracked it is baffling IMO.

It’s even more baffling when you consider (as I said previously) BB’s digital offering during its original run on 10 was far ahead of its time.

Caught up with the episodes over the weekend. The hackers ploy was just a silly gimmick, the producers still called the shots. Also, the mainframe that appeared in episode 1 was utilised again, although for some reason Drew was asked by the hackers to access it via the service lift while all he had to do was to go to the main entrance and enter it through the side door.

Also, where did the producers get all the keys from for the panic room task? A local locksmith?

A strike from under the radar

Taras’ unpredictable move sends Tully home

Tonight on Big Brother, with the Top 10 looming and an Aussie barbecue on line, the housemates didn’t hold back when Big Brother asked them probing questions for the house task.

In order to pass, Reggie and Johnson had the difficult task of guessing five correct answers the majority of housemates would give without speaking to anyone.

Victory saw the house excitedly prepare for their big barbecue dinner while Taras, who was accused of flying under the radar in the house task, chose to focus on guaranteeing his Head of House votes by securing a pact with Tully.

But Tully went back on her word during a secret ballot vote, swinging the odds in Jaycee’s favour and making him the next Head of House, as well as the first housemate to secure a place in Top 10.

Disappointed by Tully’s betrayal, Taras was out for blood, shifting his focus on winning the nominations challenge to take Tully out while still pretending to have her back.

Later, in a physically-demanding nominations challenge, a determined Taras secured his safety and a spot in Top 10.

With the power to nominate, he sent shock waves through the house when he nominated Tully, Drew and his closest ally Johnson in an attempt to put a squeeze on Tully.

In a tense eviction ceremony, Tully unleashed on Taras, but he executed his plan successfully and established himself as one of the game’s most cunning players.

Big Brother 2022’s Top 10 housemates are Aleisha, Brenton, Drew, Estelle, Gabbie, Jaycee, Johnson, Reggie, Taras and Tim.

Tomorrow on Big Brother: the housemates get a rude shock during a task and heads roll when queen Reggie gets stabbed in the back.

Shopping disaster
Jaycee and Aleisha’s grocery gaffe shocks the house

Tonight on Big Brother, the housemates endured an electrifying game of pictionary for the week’s shopping task.

Despite withstanding intense electric shocks to earn a total shopping budget of $370, Head of House Jaycee and Aleisha messed up the shopping list. Delivering a real shock as the house ended up with a lifetime supply of onions, 10 slices of bread, single-portion sizes of every item and an unused $190.

With safety on the line, the Top 10 fought to remain in the game during the nominations challenge as Tim and Gabbie took out the glory.

When Drew and Johnson were out for blood after Taras’ nominations stunt the night prior, he made a promise to redeem himself. But during nominations, Taras once again betrayed Drew and left him on the chopping block.

Big Brother gave challenge winners Tim and Gabbie the power to nominate the remaining two housemates up for eviction after Brenton, Johnson and Taras were tied for votes. The pair saved Johnson, leaving Brenton and Taras to join Drew.

Tomorrow night: Big Brother has the housemates rattled and a pretty picnic turns sour, exposing a scandalous deception.

Reggie caught up with 2003 runner-up Chrissie Swan at the Logie Awards on Sunday.

Bestie blindside

Aleisha’s deadly trap proves fatal for Drew

Tonight on Big Brother, the housemates celebrated their first ever Panic Room win after a brave effort from Estelle and Brenton.

The pair successfully completed the terrifying task of counting snakes, both real and fake, to win a picnic lunch for the house. The pretty picnic rapidly descended into chaos when Big Brother pulled the rug and revealed Estelle’s desperate attempt to nominate Johnson the previous night.

Still frustrated with Taras’ betrayal, Drew focussed on winning the second chance challenge to save himself from eviction. But when the three nominated housemates raced to build a giant house of cards, intruder Brenton secured the win and crushed Drew’s dreams.

With eviction looming, the OGs wanted Taras gone, but Aleisha plotted a shocking blind side and rallied her troops to set a deadly trap for Drew.

When the vote was tied between Drew and Taras during the eviction ceremony, Head of House Jaycee broke the deadlock to seal Drew’s fate and sent him packing.

Next Week on Big Brother: As the newbies move in for the kill on Tim, one of the game’s most legendary players masterminds his greatest escape to date.

Does anyone care anymore :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I just realised the ‘unseen’ episodes on 7plus are way better than the ones on the main channel.
