Big Brother

Wonder if they’ll include the fire evacuation as part of the show?

I didn’t know it was filming already. Looks like it’s locked in for Feb.

Apparently they haven’t decided between it and Holey Moley and it will depend on which is the best TV/strongest.

I’d like Seven to take a risk and go for Holey Moley. It has a better potential to do well and it could also help Big Brother.

So Sonia is hosting from QLD? I didn’t even realize they had already started filming. I assume it will be on earlier next year? up against ImACeleb? with The Voice in its slot next year.

Why don’t they do both shows?

Holey Moley on Sundays and Mondays and then Big Brother from Tuesday to Thursday.

Having two strong reality shows on five nights a year would be a great start to the ratings. year for Seven (if the shows rate well, that is)

No Holey Moley finished filming last week so she would be back in Sydney now.

Apparently they haven’t and the contestants hadn’t entered the house.

Random question but how come they were allowed an audience for the finale of Big Brother but not allowed audiences for Gruen and Mad as Hell? , i’m guessing because the other 2 are filmed in Melbourne… though that makes no sense as Russell would have been there.

Pretty sure Gruen was filmed in NSW.

Pretty sure Wil lives in NSW, mentioned on his podcast that he moved after leaving the Triple M hot breakfast.

I don’t think there is anything stopping an audience, but probably just easier to continue production without one in case restrictions change etc.

Many programs on Australian TV will probably not have an audience again as it makes things much more easier. Studio 10 is a primary example of this.

You have to make things Covid safe which means you need to employ more people, ABC have a tighter budget at the moment so it’s cheaper not have an audience.

So there are two seasons for 2021? That is a lot of Big Brother.

Certainly a great way to kill off one of their moderate hits very quickly.
