I’m glad that I got to watch some of this whilst working from home this morning. It was a great service and I kept looking around to see who I recognised. There were definitely a lot of recognisable faces amongst that crowd.

It’s a shame that it was such a wet and typical Melb day today. Still there were some crowds gathered outside at the end when the coffin came out.

Can we not turn a funeral into making political stabs? ScoMo was in town whilst a state funeral was on. I thought that it was a nice touch to see the PM there sitting next to Dan.

Beautiful service today. It was very sad to see Patti tearing up and visibly upset when they were carrying the coffin out. But what a great life Bert lived.
