Obuously a protocol for State funerals, but great to see that in the back half of the service cameras are staying away from Patti and family. Back half is quite sad and good they aren’t planting their grief over the screens.
Very impressed and respectful.
I watched the funeral of Bert Newton live. When the music tribute was played I broke down in tears. Bert Newton has a very wonderful life and he always delivered warmth to homes around Australia. There will never ever be another Bert Newton. Vale Bert Newton, you will be sadly missed. Bert’s dulcet tones will live with us for the rest of our lives.

He won’t turn up to a important meeting or a protest but will go to a celebs funeral.
