These Service WA ads are annoying. Doesn’t serve any purpose to anyone outside of WA.
Just saw another one on the 7 Sydney coverage.

Technically it’s the right time for SA.
9pm AEDT = 8.30pm ACDT.
I just saw one in Brisbane it’s as if from 10:30 pm it’s being broadcast live from Bejing Via Perth.
Lewis Martin said Seven’s Winter Olympics coverage would be covered from studios in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, plus four locations in China. Seven’s planning manager – Olympic & Commonwealth Games, Dacien Hadland, is managing the network’s crew of 32 in China.
Part 2:
Shirvington, Cooper and Nicholson will be commentating the Opening Ceremony tonight
I’m assuming this is coming out of Docklands Studios Melbourne (Not NEP Studios)?
Apart from Cooper, what odd choices. Thoughts?
Nicholson isn’t odd. It’s a classy choice
History-making Australian Mixed Curling team, Tahli Gill and Dean Hewitt will continue on their quest towards an Olympic medal, when they take on Sweden and Great Britain in today’s Curling Round Robin.

Yes much better than Hamish.
Hopefully she won’t trot out the ‘they all look the same’ quote again this time round.
No they are not. It clearly says 9PM AEDT.
Interesting take. I got the impression he wasn’t very popular here!
The general feel I get on McLachlan from here and Bigfooty (AFL forum) is that he is a somewhat nauseating host whilst being an improved play by play AFL commentator, but only to a mediocre level.
Personally, rightly or wrongly, I’ve always felt that he’s seen the sports as a means to get himself front and centre, rather than having a genuine passion or excitement for them.
I’m sure that could be said for many sports presenters, but I’ve always found it more pronounced with him.
All of that plus he’s just a flog.
I really love the changes they have made since Tokyo
The first part of it regarding McLachlan is just pure satire. One of the best? Spare me.
Good point, there’s definitely a huge contrast with Bruce, whose love for sport clearly shines through in his commentary.
It looks partially a virtual set?
The center bit is AR obviously but the backdrop doesn’t look right
