BBC News/World News

This has been done for a pretty long time now, just confirmed in writing.

Kind of… the UK feed switched from Breakfast to the world output earlier this year, I want to say around March? Then later on they changed it back to Breakfast, and now they’ve changed it again to the world feed. Which makes much more sense IMO as you can watch Breakfast on BBC1.

Isn’t the N24 version of Breakfast supposed to be signed? I know tney have quotas over there regarding signing, how is that being made up now, or did the Media Bill get rid of that too?

They’re signing the World bulletins instead.

This sounds like it will look more like the previous 0500am bulletins that would air with two presenters (one being the business presenter) and they’d be at the desk at the end of the hour to look ‘at the news’ / ‘the papers’.

Hopefully this more diverse and visually appealing bulletin format will return!

She was targeted for telling the truth. But of course the BBC’s “Ministry of Truth” couldn’t cope with that…

US President Donald Trump has said he will take legal action against the BBC next week over how his speech was edited by Panorama, after the corporation apologised but refused to compensate him.

Speaking to reporters on board Air Force One on Friday evening, Trump said: “We’ll sue them for anywhere between a billion and $5bn probably sometime next week.”

Much of the British public would “rather have Fox News on BBC One than BBC News,” according to the new UK minister responsible for TV and film.

Ian Murray delivered the doom-laden proclamation at the British Screen Forum (BSF) as his governing Labour party faces a challenge from Reform UK, the party led by right-leaning GB News lead anchor Nigel Farage, who is no fan of the 100-year-old British broadcaster and who is a friend of Donald Trump.
