Australian Survivor

Casting is now open nationwide for possible future instalments of the popular reality series, a move that signals long term intent despite no official renewal announcement from the network just yet.

As previously reported by TV Blackbox, a production shift for future seasons from Samoa to Malaysia is understood to be locked in, with insiders suggesting two instalments could be filmed back to back as part of that plan.

Seems 10 must be desperate about the ratings of Australian Survivor as on Monday not only will it be on the main channel at 7:30pm but it will be on 10 Comedy and 10 Drama as well at the same time. :expressionless_face:

Simulcasting ep 4 isn’t the smart move. Since they are in desperate mode they should’ve encored an edited episode 1-3 for about 2 hours and simulcast it on Sunday night

10 is showing the Matildas opening Women’s Asian Cup match tomorrow night.

Expecting quite a few Survivor promos during the Asian Cup

Where’s that new news promo from a month ago that saw glimpses of here on mediaspy. Put that on rotation this week and next week

That was an interesting start to Survivor tonight with no opener running through all the tribemates. I was only thinking on Monday that it should be shortened as it runs for a full minute.

Tonight’s episode was full of twists.

There was even an individual immunity contest for the team which lost the main immunity challenge, with the winning tribemate safe from the vote at tribal council.

Sounds like an oxymoron  What could go wrong?

It was strange to see a tribe swap happening AFTER the completion of a reward challenge. In previous seasons, the swap occurred before a reward challenge.

And apparently the producers were unhappy with JLP having an opinion…

Bounty and Barren would compete for individual immunity in tonight’s episode (one for each tribe). Both tribes would go to tribal council where a campmate would go home.

Promo for tonight - I suppose it fits - making fire, saving the tribe (who didn’t really want to be saved) and handing over individual immunity to the other tribe - did Simon correctly execute a strategic move? !!

The reward challenge in tonight’s episode was a game of bluff, with items on offer for both tribes. I think it replaced the auction.

The tribal merge would take place on this Sunday’s episode.

The Merge Is Here And The Game Gets Ruthless.

New Companion Series, Jury’s Out, Premieres Tuesday, 24 March On 10 Streaming.

Get ready, Australia, as the game of Survivor is about to level up.

This Sunday night, it’s time to drop your buffs because the Barren and Bounty tribes are no more. The Castaways of Australian Survivor: Redemption will officially merge, and the battle for Sole Survivor enters its most explosive and physically demanding phase yet.

Alliances are fracturing and the power struggle is far from over. Shifting loyalties, epic endurance challenges and bold strategic moves are setting the stage for a gripping endgame, and as the stakes rise on screen, fans can now go deeper than ever before.

Launching Tuesday, 24 March, brand-new companion series, Jury’s Out will be available to watch on 10 Streaming after every episode of Australian Survivor: Redemption.

This season, every player voted out of the game and on to the jury will rest and recuperate at Jury Villa, but not before an exclusive in-depth appearance on Jury’s Out with four-time Survivor player Shonee Bowtell, and two-time returnee Nick Iadanza.

Each episode, Nick and Shonee will take viewers behind the scenes and beyond the snuffed torches, talking to every eliminated player about the blindsides, betrayals, epic challenges and big moves that put them on the jury bench.

Expect unfiltered takes, deep game breakdowns and plenty of tea as they dig into what went wrong, reveal what really happened behind the scenes, debate who is playing the best game, and predict who will ultimately claim their Redemption as the next Sole Survivor.

As the jury builds and the end draws closer, nothing is off-limits.

Australian Survivor: Redemption.
Continues Sunday At 7pm, Monday And Tuesday At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Streaming.
