There’s no accounting for taste.
Exactly - with three reality franchises almost always competing viewers either choose one or watch one, record another. They won’t suddenly watch the final of a show they’ve not been following over a show they have been.
What is poor is the last minute switch, but sadly not uncommon in Australian TV. From Ten’s point of view though clearly better to end a show against the finale of another than launch another show against them.
Synopses for this week’s episodes
Sunday 5 September
Day 44. The four former brains have formed an impenetrable alliance, leaving Flick as the only remaining brawn on the outer. Little do they know she’s getting ready to shake things up.
Monday 6 September
As we near the end of the competition, will the game’s longest lasting power couple finally have to turn on each other?
Well guess it’s obvious between which 2 are eliminated on Sunday…
Stupid that they name names in the synopses. Why not keep it vague and say one person rather than name them.
Why are 2 eliminated on Sunday?
Where did you get 2 being eliminated from? There are 5 left, so pretty sure one will be eliminated per episode. I think Ekane meant that its pretty obvious that one of either Hayley or Wai will leave tonight going by the synopsis.
That’s what I thought that’s why I was asking why two are being eliminated from how Ekane was talking and thought I might have missed something.
Elimination is “between” 2 people
Sorry I got confused.
There should be no immunity idols this late in the game!
What?!? In all seasons they have immunity idols. That’s the whole point and logic behind the show. Unless you are meaning hidden immunity?
Yeah hidden
Yeah I think it’s pretty standard across the seasons that this is the last tribal they can be used in. Personally, I would rather they not be a thing (or a very limited amount of them).
Surprised Hayley didn’t see that coming tonight.
She wants to be up against the cockroach at the end.
Far too much revealed in the teaser at the end of the episode. George will survive as always anyway - we’re always disappointed.
Flick really should have been open about her idol and let them scramble - she’d have had a good chance of getting Wei and Hayley on side to vote out George and at the very least drove a bit of a wedge between the three that survived.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Hayley knew about the idol. It was her way of getting rid of Wai without betraying her and making sure she still gets her vote in the finale.
Cara confirmed on Instagram that Hayley knew of the plan.
