Really I found the edge of extinction challenge in the last episode great. And I haven’t found it boring. I wouldn’t want the Australian version to cut the reward challenges but I do think it would provide some good content here.
If they do it they need to keep it consistant the entire season. And not just implement these things for a couple of votes. Although twists like EoE could make it seem too complicated for the typical Aus audience. The promo department and casual viewers seem to like the surprise shock gimmicky twists as much as people like us hate it.
I find reward challenges pre-merge completely boring and pointless. I’m glad they don’t do them as much in the US survivor anymore. Who cares if a tribe wins a cup of coffee. I’d rather see more airtime at the camps.
I do and don’t like aspects of EoE. I don’t mind it as long as it’s not in every season. This season it makes sense but I hope next sesan we get a break from it. I do agree though that EoE got too much airtime in the recent episode. I don’t mind it getting a couple of minutes an episode bu that whole segment was too much for people voted out of the game. I’m hoping it was just a one off due to the medical stuff.

From the edit already tonight it looks like Shonee and Moana will be the two to choose from to go home. It could be Shonee’s last show.

I’m surprised CBS Viacom doesn’t run Survivor Aus on Pop TV or Paramount Network In the US. Or one or the other dozen cable networks they have there - or CBS All Access
I’d imagine there would be somewhat of an reasonable amount of interest
Also in the UK it could run on 5Star, CBS Reality Network or Paramount Network

Interesting how well all the contestants that didn’t make merge in their first season are doing. All of them (moana, ak, Zach, Jacqui, Tarzan) made top 9.
Tonight’s ep was the best in a while. it was an obvious and good move for Jacqui, Very surprised Dave didn’t see that coming.
