There is a lot of contradicting information from 7. In the promo the voiceover says the “live television is back Monday” but at the same the time promo graphics makes it seem like Sunday is also live.

Is Monday results an actual Live show? The ticketing info shows that it’s starting at 5:30pm & finishing around 9pm.

Hmm looks like it’s going to be live on delay. I guess the performances will be recorded from 5:30 and then staging etc. between them and then by the time it’s shown on TV all packaged up it will be then in line for live for the deciding votes done actually live?
It’s a shame networks these days can’t have faith in their teams to actually do live as live TV. This whole delayed crap is the opposite of what 2023 should be, even more live and to the second! (Minus the delay for the dump button)

Did they do group performances on the Results Night also? Meghan Trainor will sing her latest song too going by the ads. Suited on this night too, rather than the performance night.

Seven should stream the Monday results show live into these regions via 7plus, just like The Front Bar All Sports Edition.

I know even when it was “live” that Australia’s Got Talent pre-recorded their performance shows, justifying it because of the required set changes (although other versions manage just fine to do that live). Were The X Factor performance shows genuinely live?
It just feels so unnecessary to pre-record the live shows - indeed with Harry and Meghan possibly flying in each week (or some weeks at least) to do them having them on back to back days genuinely live would lessen their required commitment. Probably would work better for Kyle and Amy too.
Looks like the results show will be recorded a bit earlier and then the actual results be live. Be interesting to see whether voting remains open during the show as an effort to prove the results are live, although it’s somewhat unfair on those watching the live show delayed in their timezones anyway.
P.S. In the glory days did they air the finals at least live in all time zones?

Since it ran into November, only in the eastern time zones not in Daylight Saving Time. So only NSW, ACT, Vic, Tas. Early part of the season Qld too.

The most famous example is in 2006, when the grand final was broadcast live into NT at 6pm local time (7.30pm AEDT) so that fans could cheer on (and vote for) local girl Jessica Mauboy, as she competed against Damien Leith.
