I watched the first three episodes of Ted Lasso last night - not sure what to feel about it, its ok but I wouldnt suggest anyone rush out and watch it - it does has a likeable quality though (Jason Sudeikis is good at achieving that). Watching a very much American style comedy set in the UK is a bit strange.
The Apple TV+ model of releasing three episodes on the first day and then weekly from there is a little frustrating - it may contribute to me not picking up the show again, if all the episodes were available I may have kept watching.
Oh and the Apple product placement is a bit silly
I didnât mind it as well. Though there wasnât anything subtle about the characterisations. Not many surprises yet in the script as well.
Apple has renewed Ted Lasso for a 10-episode second season.

Not sure. I just started watching this last night. Really good.
It only just resumed production last week after halting due to COVID-19 so it probably is a while off yet.
Early 2021 apparently. Itâs only just started production.
Well if season 1 didnât have me hooked already, Julianna Margulies in season 2 definitely has!!
Shame we still donât have a release date though.
I would say March / April 2021.
