Que Minh Luu, who recently left Netflix, is also rumoured to be in the running at Apple.

Apple TV+ subscription price in Australia increased on August 22, 2025, from $12.99 to $15.99 per month. This 20% price hike took effect for new subscribers immediately, while existing subscribers will see the new rate after their next renewal date. The annual Apple TV+ plan and the bundled Apple One services remained unchanged at this time.
The new pricing makes Apple TV Plus twice as expensive as it was when it first launched in Australia.
Disney Plus has increased its average plan price by 106% since its 2020 launch and ad-free streaming with Amazon Prime Video has gone up by 117%.
