It’s the way they make it clickbait.
I know, I just find it funny.
Good to hear the culprit has been found. Hopefully that will be the end of the matter.
(Edit, sorry just saw Jason had already posted the news!)
Ai-Media, the company which provides captioning services to Seven has confirmed it was the leak of the infamous Djokovic video where 7 News presenters Rebecca Maddern and Mike Amor had a frank and honest conversation about the worlds number 1 tennis player.
First world problems here. lol… From the “white-jacket-gate” from Nine News Now a few years back, to the “Amor-Maddern Djokovic banter” on Seven, i cannot wait for Ten’s News Leak in 5 years time to have all the hysteria over nothing.
They don’t produce enough content to create a scandal!
5 years time? They’ll be long gone by then.
I didn’t know the caption company has access to off-air content. Why would Seven be providing them with off-air private conversations to another company?
They provide them with the internal feeds so that they can do the captioning.
They receive the studio output, not the presentation feed. But I think that might soon change.
Why would they need to be monitoring it 20 minutes before broadcast?
That’s my thoughts…
Likely checking that the feed was functioning as it should (ie, is the audio clear etc.)
Often these things are checked a while before air, just in case there is an issue so that they don’t have to scramble with 2 or 3 minutes to fix what could be a complex issue. The technician was likely just checking this sort of stuff and happened to tune in at the right time.
Not a fan of coverage saying Bec has apologised.
Mike is the one who swears - which is offensive to some. Bec didn’t use offensive language.
Wait, they apologised? Come on, there is no need to apologise.
I had $20 on it being Jacqui Felgate
/jokes
I think the context was that Bec apologised to her boss - which is understandable for someone 1 week into a new job. They both swore.
Bec has made her Instagram private, presumably still copping lots of negative comments.
They also add captioning to updates. Presumably, the feed was open from the last update which had been recorded… or maybe it’s just left open?
