hearing a few weak stations between 102.0 and 103.0 on the FENNERS Auckland server, I assume these would be Australia since these frequnecies aren’t used in NZ.
Theres something in and out on 102.2 playing religous content, wonder where this could be from?

Back in the Highlands, nothing from across the ditch at all. Tried all my monitoring frequencies but to no avail. Maybe they would pop up tonight.
Which is a good get, as NOW seems to be weaker than GGG on the New England Hwy anywhere north of Guyra. And neither is ever very strong.
Always at a lower levels to the others from Mt Dowe. Probably due to the directional antenna characteristics.

I’ll be going out to the top of the Clyde Mountain tonight around 1930 to try for NZ tropo; this location has a direct LOS to the ocean and is about 750 m ASL. This might be above the tropo but it will be interesting to see what occurs.
NZ tropo often peaks in the early evening from experience.
Tomorrow will see stronger westerlies so the duct will likely move offshore from Sydney and the South Coast, but the Mid North Coast still has a chance.

The Kiwi Dxer is currently receiving Armidale ABCs, they also got the same Newcastle stations as this morning. They also had Mt Moombil and Middle Brother. The last part kinda sounds like my posts here whenever I get Northerly Tropo.

The usb connection to that TEF dropped out. Can’t fix it at the moment as I’m overseas. I’m not in the best location for NZ Es in any case as there’s a hill + 10-storey building about 500m away from me in the direction of NZ.

Only Hamilton NZ received from the top of the Clyde. Signals were very unstable so I must have been right on the edge of the duct.
It has been an amazing day for Trans Tasman Tropo and E-Skip on both sides of the ditch. I did not record them but the NZ signals I mostly assumed were E-Skip with the fading in and out, but I could have a new Tropo record here: 91.4 Rhema Palmerston North at 2328km smashing 7ABCFM Hobart out of the park.
NZ seems to be fading a bit now.
89.0 was my strongest at a peak of 14 dbuv, but barely receivable now.

Thanks. The tropo between Australia and New Zealand is going on now, as there are Sydney stations coming in on the FENNERS server which is in the Auckland area.
I’m picking up Sporadic E-like fading of Triple J on 93.1 from here in Perth and also confirmed by one of the SDR’s here - it doesn’t fit either WA or EDST time zones though through checking on streaming. Any ideas where this could be from?
NewsRadio Townsville came into Sydney about 10 minutes ago but unfortunately it may be gone now…
