Could you get RAM and the other Goulburn services? I was also getting ABC Classic on 89.5 and Sky on 94.3.
SW Slopes coming in here too - including Hit 93.1 Wagga.

I heard RN on 97.9 and Eagle 93.5… but both are frequent visitors to my radio here.
Didn’t spend long enough outdoors to check the lower powered Goulburn ones, good chance they were there too since they are clear frequencies here … It takes strong tropo for me to get RAM (Hope usually blocks it here), so I doubt it was there. No chance of GN here thanks to Triple M (not).

Mt Moombil is coming in here tonight in the Southern Highlands. 91.5 mixing with South West Slopes and 99.5 mixing with Move FM
92.3 as well with Tigers vs Raiders NRL Match.

Obviously some good tropo tonight but my hands were getting too cold and I only have a portable radio… if I put some gloves on I’d probably have put a bit more time into it so I could see more from the west and maybe see if I could get anything from further than Newy and Canberra

Is that excluding permanent stations? As for Newcastle, I see the commercials listed but not Triple J or Classic, both of which put a much stronger signal towards Sydney.

Congrats on GN FM. These are the sort of conditions where Braidwood FM might shove aside 2RSR, but you’d need to be in an optimal spot. @tvcl could go to the end of Yarran Road Oatley and try for me! The cul-de-sac slopes south to the river and you can block northern signals quite effectively with the TEF I suspect.

the tropo right now is fairly weak but covering a lot of directions,
to the east TRFM is enhanced
to the north i am getting edge fm and albury
to the west i am getting warrnambool and mixx 106.3
to the south i am getting king island community radio and launceston

Nice. I’ve never been able to get RN Lithgow on 92.5 nor ABC Central West on 94.1, though I don’t usually check those frequencies given the strength of the signals from Gosford/Wollongong.

I received ABC Central West on 94.1 from Moss Vale back in early August 2020
Never received RN on 92.5 though because at the time, 2WYR Bowral was on that frequency.

Tropo is still going at midday. Griffith is getting close to RDS level right now. Bendigo is also enhanced.

Tropo is also present at Mildura, I have the Bendigo, Ballarat and Wodonga ABCs. Also have Hit Bendigo and Triple M Wodonga (105.7) coming in, abiet weakly but are there.
Also on 88.3 I’m getting a weak ABC Classic from Bethungra / Wagga Wagga - 91.5 News Radio is trying to come through but can’t quite get over the top of 5RM, leading to pretty strong CCI there. Its also affecting 93.1 MAGIC with Hit Wagga Wagga.

In SEQ, troppo reception has mostly been southerly down to Mt Dowe where GGG and Sport radio have been coming in for a couple of days at low level. This afternoon ABC’s from Mount Cenn Cruaich now being received at about 600km. Triple J on 102.3 is strongest in stereo. (Still no TMFM)

92.5 and 94.1 Portland were permanent at Oatley aiming west. I was in an optimal location, though.
