I had something come up very briefly with rap/hip hopish/JJJ music on 95.5MHz & disappear quite quickly. Hope it wasn’t an in car micromitter & not a good choice with 95.3 Smooth close by if it was. It didn’t have that characteristic vehicle motion propagation. Mystery.

Yeah, been pretty flat here in NSW for me today as well.
Had 2EC fade up briefly on 105.9, but only weak Canberra / Batemans Bay ABCs otherwise.

Your tip panned out. Es on 100.7 just now – but not from Gippsland. Power 100 from Townsville with full RDS decode:
Interesting propagation at the moment – it’ll be super strong literally for one second, then completely disappear the next.

I always wonder why the ABC just does not switch off 630 and broadcast full time on 91.1, must be something to do with that 50kW AM Transmitter.

I’d say it’s there so that people can tune in in the remote areas which can pick up the AM signal but not FM during a civil emergency.

Quite envious of these Es. I’m not getting anything here, must be something to do with being on the wrong side of my apartment building and having a couple floors above me.
I have a bit better luck when they come from south/west, but rarely as strong as that.

I’ve had this happen to my server on multiple occasions and I’ve noticed it on the Mildura server once too. I wonder if it’s the same person doing it to everyone?

Today I spent a bit of time restoring & repairing our Aus/NZ RDS List Google Sheet from deliberate damage at 2.19am on Jan 11th AEDST. 6 actions across 3 sheets.

To top it all off, just had the insult of hearing 4KZ on Supernetwork programming (via 102.5 Babinda).

I did see it a fair bit when I first started hosting a TEF, but after so many connections both CloudFlare and nginx on the proxy side start to block them. Haven’t seen it happen again lately.
