Receiving 94.1 FM from Cherbourg over the top of Gold Coast. Very rare and not associated with a particularly significant toppo - just reception of ABC Rockhampton.

Cherbourg have just had some major works done including a decent new antenna and transmitter installed in the last 3 days… might have something to do with the better reception

Some strong shorter range catches tonight.
Radio Skid Row 88.9 making a rare appearance here. Most Sydney suburban community stations being received at 30dbuv or better.
Eden stations with partial RDS. Some weak to fair reception of ABC Coffs Harbour stations too.

Don’t think so, I heard a foreign language program on 88.9, unless 2BRW has something similar around 9pm?
Batemans Bay was only fair ABCs, so no commercials or 2EAR either.

We don’t have any LOTE programming as far as I’m aware. 2RSR have a fair bit at night so it’s most likely them that you heard.
Yes 2EAR gets out a lot better than us at least up the coast, due to the favourable position of Wandera Mountain and access to the coastal ducts. I’d say 2EAR would be a prerequisite for 2BRW reception.

Very strong king island into Melbourne tonight. King island radio and other ABCs fully listenable.
(sadly king island radio isn’t running any of their musical IDs since they are playing automated music overnight)
