Alan has a weekly guest spot on 2CC’s breakfast show, and a similar guest spot on Chris Smith’s TNT Radio show. Outside of that fairly narrow audience and the occasional clip in a montage of conservative voices on Media Watch, I’m not sure that anyone knows he’s still broadcasting. James Packer spending even a tiny amount on promotion would do Alan’s reach wonders.

How interesting that Jones’ existence post-“retirement” is less noticed than Laws on 2SM (ie more people know Laws is still on radio, than know that Jones is still on “television”).

Wasn’t AJ going to do a spot on Coast FM in Gosford? Did that ever get off the ground?

The demographics are way off Gloria’s audience up in Gosford. Not to mention politically that area tends to skew progressive.
In the meantime, Alan would have better luck broadcasting to outback Queensland where I’m sure he’ll feel very welcome.

I find it quite hilarious that someone like Alan Jones and Ray Hadley, who most likely owns multiple properties and resides in affluent areas of Sydney and surrounds, dining on lavish food and drinking expensive wines, can claim to be the ‘voice of the battlers who are doing it tough’. I mean the hypocrisy of some of these shock jocks are hilariously bad.
Maybe Alan could pitch himself to one of the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast radio stations? Conservative area but highly urbanised these days

This is what they do then they encourage the working poor to be more conservative and vote against their own self interests. Fancy telling these poor to vote for the coalition who only enact policy to enlarge the pockets of the wealthy.

Thing is, if most of their audience heard about what the likes of Jones (that toilet in Soho) and Hadley (bullying) and Smith (workplace parties) have done in their lives they’d be spewing so much that they’d drown. They certainly know how to rile up their audience to throw stones in glass houses.
