Not from that studio. They do still do The Listening Post (media analysis show) from London, but that comes from another studio.
Would be great if they make these London inserts a regular thing again.

I assume it’s a short term thing due to … world events.
Nice to see that studio back, even if temporarily. The current studio for the Listening Post had me worried that perhaps AJE had downsized in the Shard and may have given up that grand space.
They’ve been doing a similar daily show lately from the DC bureau as well out of the Stream studio. It’s a 15-30 minute show with a more nuanced focus onto the Iran conflict as it relates to domestic US affairs. It reminds me a bit of how they used to split up the Newshours between Doha and the outstations long ago, though this one is taped and reruns a few times.
That’s more or less how they’ve been handling the London segments. On Wednesday (and again yesterday) Nick Clark led the 15GMT Newshour from Doha, with Jonah Hull popping up in the headlines and for a 10-15 minute segment later in the hour.
I did wonder what that studio was! I had assumed it was a new studio but obviously not. Maybe they are starting to have more output from elsewhere again, which would be great. I always thought the London bulletins were the best on that channel. Then again, they could just be testing backup options in case the worst happens in Doha.
Also I noticed former CNN correspondent Scott McLean is now anchoring on AJE. They’ve got quite the collection of ex-CNNI people now… I wonder what that says about the latter network’s inability to retain talent?
Probably that, I doubt there’s any other benefit to reopening these studios.
