The increase takes competing club members allocation to 35,000 (17,500 each club), with the extra 1,000 member tickets in 2024 coming from AFL corporate and premium hospitality allocations.
Competing club members receive the largest allocation of 35,000, followed by MCC members, AFL and Medallion Club Members, other stakeholders (clubs, broadcast and corporate partners), and premium hospitality experiences allocated the smallest amount.
Collectively members of competing clubs, AFL and MCC receive almost 75,000 tickets (75% of capacity).
The article also says at the end that the round 24 fixture will be released post round 21.

What a game last night. Essendon played so well but couldnât get over the line. Adelaide just never went away. Itâs crazy to think Essendon can be out of the 8 at the conclusion of this round.
As a port supporter that hasnât had success in 20 years I would just take one if it meant my team was sitting at 36 points.
Itâs not like my team didnât put in hard work year after year and get so close but yet so far away. A few points from a GF against Hawthorn and Richmond and another Prelim against Bulldogs.
And there are so many other clubs with no success or some for a lot longer than port. Be grateful.
Premierships are hard.
And donât forget what your club has gone through this year. A tone of injuries. A season that started early which has resulted in a pressing being 2 weeks shorter than the year before. Your luck got the ultimate success last year. Donât be a sore loser.
My daughter takes great delight in telling me how much she loves Collingwood now after trying to break my heart last year by switching from the Cats. To be honest it doesnât really worry me but I did just love watching her face by putting on the Collingwood game when they were 1.11.17 in the 3rd quarter and miles behind!
Hawthorn beat Collingwood for the second year in a row.
As a Hawthorn member I think tonightâs win was more satisfying than last year. In 2023 the Pies were on their way to the top four so the Hawksâ victory came as a shock. This year both teams are fighting for a spot in the top eight, and Hawthorn controlled most of the match.
I was playing around with the ladder predictor and itâs going to be very interesting what the minimum games needed to win to be in the 8 will shape up to be.
Itâs definitely more than 13 at the moment and closer to 15, one win shy of Richmondâs 16 H&A in 2019.
The fact that just over five rounds out we can only safely say one team is in finals is mind boggling.
Itâs crazy, unbelievable! Even Carlton canât be trusted given their recent poor formâŚ
On the Bombers, oh man, what a season killer that was, two weeks in a row. So much for that Collingwood win, which, like Bulldogs and GWS ones, doesnât seem that great after all.
You have to give it to the AFL it seems to happen quite often. The fact 13 teams can still make it at this time of the year is great for the competition.
I think the bombers can hold their head up high with those. 3 wins. Itâs a tough season. They have a favourable run home so they should make top 6 still. Port arenât staying in the 8 they Carlton and Sydney next two weeks and Fremantle to end.
