I am shattered because I really care about the direction the boys are going. We had chances and some may say we were robbed or stiff to lose the match too. I am so damn flat! I know we can make finals and believe in the boys that we can do it in 2022. This makes one extra hurdle now we need to overcome to make the finals. The next two games against Richmond and Collingwood are must wins. We need to win the games against teams around us on the ladder and unfortunately we have failed to do so so far!

They missed so big opportunities. I think it was a pretty fair game and I wouldnāt say you were stiff. Port had some opportunities to put the game away late as well.
You should be happy with the direction they are going in. They could have easily won that game.
I will be supporting GC in the next two. Hope you can do it.
If you can win the next 3 you have some very winnable games in the last 3-4 rounds. Fingers crossed.
Well played @VictorianSun , I think the slow start is what cost you in the end, was hard to watch the close finish as a Port fan. Hopefully the Suns can finally make a finals series, they definately have the talent to do it

Saw the Port Adelaide v Gold Coast highlights on YouTube this morning. I agreed it was a great game. Both teams are now at 7-7, a huge recovery for the Power in particular after starting this season at 0-5. The Power should reach the finals by virtue of their home ground advantage, while the Suns have their destiny in their own hands.
Not sure if port will. They have 3 top 4 sides in the next month.

I hope your wrong. He was fantastic on the weekend and port will go hard for him I think. I heard Dew say that they were ironing things out. But it is never a good sign to have a player uncontracted this late in the season.

What a shocking loss by Gold Coast. They need to be winning these games.
Collingwood will make the top 4. They have been unbelievable the last few months.
Umpires didnāt help us in the last two games right at the end. Iām absolutely fuming

In the last game there was decisions that went both ways that were questionable.

As a Pies fan, Iām so happy with the win, but what a close game. Hopefully Darcy Moore hasnāt hurt himself too badly.

For the record, Melbourne won the match by 29 points after the Crows came within five points early in the final term.

Collingwood have been playing such exciting football as well. I just hope they can sort out this shocking culture at the club. The way some of the players treat and talk about women really turns you off the team and wanting to see them do well.

Feel bad for Gold Coast, two really close and competitive games. Hopefully this is enough to ward off all those ājust sack the coachā people and help their player retention a bit with looking like a finals chance, seemingly next year now, but I suppose itās still in theory possible for them to scrape in.
