This article from the AFL website has the complete list of radio (and TV) callers - except Triple M - for the 2025 season.
Zach Tuohy, who recently competed on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, will be part of K rock 95.5 and bay 93.9’s AFL coverage for this year.
Selwood’s first game in the 3AW commentary box will be at GMHBA Stadium on March 15 – where he has a stand named after him – as his old side Geelong takes on Fremantle in Round 1.
He will feature in expert commentary on both Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons this season.

According to a Herald Sun article, Triple M’s Friday Huddle will be broadcast for 3 hours (4pm-7pm AEDT) before vacating for Brian Taylor and Jack Heverin to call the game. As a result, Triple M’s Rush Hour with JB and Billy will not be broadcast on Fridays for the season, and I would imagine that the full Friday Huddle show will be networked into Adelaide and Perth live.
No chance Perth will be taking AFL coverage at 1pm.
Well, once daylight savings finishes it will be 2pm when they can air the Friday Huddle live. I could see that happening. The Huddle is not a serious AFL talk program.
3AW announces star-studded coverage for 2025 AFL season
Melbourne’s leading station 3AW is set to deliver another season of unmatched AFL coverage in 2025. Returning to the commentary box are some of the game’s most respected voices and biggest names to deliver live expert analysis, play-by-play coverage, and in-depth discussions for footy fans.
The 3AW AFL 2025 line-up includes:
- Thursday Night Football : Jimmy Bartel and Matthew Richardson, with callers Anthony Hudson and Bruce Eva.
- Friday Night Football : Jimmy Bartel and Matthew Lloyd, with callers Tim Lane and Matt Granland.
- Saturday Footy Preview : Tim Lane, Caroline Wilson, and Leigh Matthews set the stage for the day’s action.

Adding to this year’s excitement, renowned journalist Laura Spurway will join the 3AW football team as the station’s first dedicated AFLW reporter, contributing to the Sunday coverage and appearing across all games.
Geelong champion Joel Selwood is joining the team rotating across all games. With his outstanding career as a player and captain, Joel brings all his footy knowledge fresh from the game to the 3AW team.
Additionally, Rory Sloane brings his wealth of experience to the broadcast team. Alongside his new role on Nine’s Sunday Footy Show, Sloane will be rotating into 3AW’s coverage, taking a seat next to AFL legend Leigh Matthews.
Along with our commentary teams and callers we also are thrilled to have back the boundary reporters Jacqui Reed and Carlton AFLW vice captain Abbie McKay.
Fans can also look forward to the return of the Eddie and Jimmy podcast in 2025, which will be publishing three episodes per week, available to listen to on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and to watch on 9Now.
Luca Gonano, Head of 3AW Football, said: *“*With a team of AFL greats, seasoned broadcasters, fresh voices and innovation in the games future, 3AW is proud to continue its tradition of delivering the most accurate, insightful and entertaining AFL coverage.”
Tune in for every key moment of the 2025 season, live on Melbourne’s own 3AW.
Sunday’s GWS-Collingwood match will be broadcast on DAB+ in Sydney, due to live NRL (Storm v Eels) on FM radio at the same time.

Calling the Collingwood vs Port game on Saturday night.
Reuniting with his former ABC colleague Jess Webster.
Jess will be calling the other Saturday night match (Western Bulldogs v North Melbourne) for Triple M Sydney.
Weird game to only broadcast in Sydney. Only guess be it’s a workaround to get it into the Listnr app.
It’s part of Triple M’s commitment to broadcast every game of the AFL season for the next three years, under its parent company’s new radio deal with the league.
Fair to say the MMMs have moved the magnets around so to speak
