What are their rights in terms of actually broadcasting those?
If they have national broadcast rights, Triple M should spin up a DAB station, that can take extra calls of the overlapping or interstate games - to at least get some more use of them.
Just from this round - I assume no where actually broadcast that Dogs v North call? As I assume 105.1 had the Collingwood v Port game.
Seems a huge waste for Triple M to be calling those games.
Especially given the result - would’ve retained more of an audience if they took Dogs v North.
It was broadcast by Triple M into Sydney.
I’d wish they go back to what was done in 2007-2011- like for example, 3AW and MMM call Collingwood v Port Adelaide while ABC and SEN call Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne. but ABC does the Collingwood Port match into SA.

As confirmed on Triple M’s Rush Hour with JB and Billy earlier this week, the new Herald Sun Chief Football Reporter Jay Clark has farewelled the Sunday Rub. He announced this during the Round 1 show, which turned out to be his final show for the program. He will continue to work on the Thursday Rub throughout the season.
Clark has now been permanently replaced by Channel 7 and Triple M Perth AFL caller and reporter, Ryan Daniels . Daniels will join the show remotely from the Triple M Perth studio in Subiaco. Daniels’ first show will be tomorrow, Sun 30 March.

This Saturday in the Gather Round, Triple M will broadcast Carlton v West Coast into Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne, while North Melbourne v Gold Coast will be heard on Triple M Gold Coast. Carlton v West Coast will also be heard on 3AW and ABC in Melbourne, while SEN has a live call of Kangaroos v Suns.
