He’s part of their commentary team on Sunday’s this season
That’s right Paul Roos is part of Triple M’s Commentary team on Sunday & is part of Fox Footy’s Saturday Commentary team.
How can 3AW, MMM and ABC all cover the Kangaroos-Gold Coast game, instead of the Dockers-Eagles game?
Because it involves a Victorian team and local fans will be more interested in the match than the WA derby.
Yet the regionals get stuck with the derby… makes sense…
SEN are doing it, that’s enough.
ABC and Triple M regional stations have the north v suns match.
That doesn’t really help much when more than half the AFL Nation markets in Vic, SA and Tasmania can’t receive a Triple M station.
Fair enough, ABC?
ABC Radio Tasmania won’t be receiving a broadcast of Hawthorn v St Kilda at Launceston.
Doesn’t appear that any Tasmanian station will cover that match. How strange.
I gotta admit that the broadcast on seven this year has noticeably taken a ‘step-up’ and arguably it’s not just driven by what they do in the US.
A couple of weeks ago it was so great to watch BT walking around the dressing room post-game… as a fan… this puts us slap bang in with the players… (it must be mentioned Mark Taylor did a similar thing at the SCG at the cricket)…
And again tonight… BT, Duck and Richo out on the field pre-game and BT yells out to an umpire to do a bounce… and then he does a perfect one…
Who ever has come up with this idea to put viewers more in the game deserves a medal.
ABC should have not been covering the Swans-Blues game national. It should have been limited to NSW only.
Noticed ABC Radio’s AFL Broadcasting Rights Agreement isn’t on the AFL website where as all other TV, Radio & Digital Agreements are listed.
Why is it that SEN never takes a game with Sandy Roberts calling? or Quartermain either?
Why is it that ABC takes a game with two Melbourne teams when they could take the interstate game instead?
ABC is broadcasting the North Melbourne-Adelaide match back into South Australia (also in Tasmania and WA). It will have a separate commentary team with Melbourne-based experts.
I guess ABC will send Peter Walsh or Matt Clinch over to Launceston to cover that game.
Doesn’t Sandy always do Friday nights and Q do Saturday afternoons?
If so, SEN send their own call teams (Fri- Hudson, Granland, Lyon, Frawley, Connolly and Sat-Granland, Bartlett, someone else I can’t remember) to those games.
