It’s not 91.5 or 92.5 so you’re the one doing a “bad job”
It’s 92.1FM

There will be a transition period where they’re broadcasting on both frequencies, so that’s the best time to tell the audience to switch over.
An interesting way to roll it out - with ACE Digital already all sorted, but on-air has not caught up yet.
Maybe that’s the benefit of having your own internal digital arm.
I still standby my earlier comment - they should simply keep the existing 3NE Facebook page and change the name. Surely a business like ACE “Digital” could easily arrange this.
Loved sun fm !! Rocking the GV with Brendan Barnes. Was great in the day
Please stop the round logos before it consumes us all!
Bring back an independent logo ACE.
At least Edge lives up to its name and goes over the edge of the circle. But yes, pretty uninspiring logo otherwise.
They probably got a student at Wangaratta GoTafe to design it for them in return for some free bumper stickers.
3NE website now redirects to star921.com.au
Was there any references made on 2ay breakfast show or any other programs on Friday farewelling 3NE listeners or changes happening
Brings up a security alert for me within Chrome…
@captaincupcake is there any chance you can capture an Advanced RDS Screen pic capture of Star 92.1’s RDS data on your TEF? Or perhaps when they commence on Monday?
I can do that when I pass through the area on Thursday.. or is that too late?!
All done I’ll keep an eye out for any changes that they might make too as they no doubt will fine tune things after go live on Monday.
And it only gives it more away that it’s a Temu Hit Network when you go right down to the bottom of the page.
I think though it makes total sense given during Carrie & Tommy as an example, SCA are now producing localised idents for ACE Radio’s hit music network carrying SCA programming.
One example I heard on Colac once: “On the Princes Hwy, one LOL at a time, it’s Mixx 1063’s Carrie & Tommy.” And that was produced by the big guns at Southern Cross Austereo. Note that the “Princes Hwy” bit was probably referring to the Princes Hwy in Colac West.
So in a sense, while you might come to hate it (and while it indeed is a knockoff of SCA’s Hit Network), it’s a sensible move. All their Mixx stations will soon sport rebrands, and it’s only a matter of time before TRFM also cops this rebrand. While it will be a Temu Hit Network in Traralgon, I’m sure locals there will be perfectly satisfied with this rebrand. SCA Hit Network programs are being broadcast there, and the only SCA O&O station is Triple M Gippsland (repeater of Warragul 94.3 FM service on 97.9 FM).
Are there any markets where ACE and SCA’s Hit are together? That’ll be interesting…
Albury, but ACE only have AM there.
I streamed a bit on Friday and heard no reference at all
Ace is doing a bad job with 3ne conversion to star 92.1fm
