They are also representing the metro stations as well. I wonder if this is linked to ACE not being able to find enough sales staff to properly sell the metro stations.

I’d say this is just for national/agency sales. The same arrangement that ACE had with TRSN. This is just announcing to the market that 2UE/4BH/Magic are now included and the first step of replacing the TRSN brand with ARN.
Nothing new hear. TRSN has represented ACE for years.
Interesting. I hope this partnership somehow increases the chances of 4KQ being sold to ACE and remaining largely untouched.

Yeah I agree, SEN is no longer necessarily in the box seat. Its a good sign for those who love 4KQ as it is.

Len Johns is doing mornings on 107.7 Mixx Fm until next Wednesday because Sarah has tested to Covid. This is on top of his commitments to Magic 1278 & 1332 3SH

That’s no surprise is it. If it wasn’t such a wanton waste of a finite, regulated resource, it’d be funny.
The more ARN content on Ace stations, the less of their own, in house networked dross goes to air. A win for audiences and clients. The best worst situation whilst such poor ownership continues.

@djpower mentions Len Johns voicetracking across three stations. Wonder who voicetracks across the most stations in any given week? Usual or filling in; doesn’t matter.
Three stations doesn’t seem high when you consider what the Ace voicetracking sausage factory pump out and pass off as commercial radio.

My information is from tuning into local radio lol.
It’s a bit bizzare he he is not listed on at least 3SH website, none of his shows are advertised on air either apart from his Sunday Country music show which is also networked across the AM stations

ACMA has released its consultation paper to vary the Deniliquin licence area, involving 2QN & Edge FM: Proposal to vary the Deniliquin licence area plan - consultation 14/2022 | ACMA
Under the proposal, 2QN is looking to start up their FM translators for Echuca/Moama on 102.9 & Cobram on 93.3, whilst Edge FM is looking to start up their translator for Echuca/Moama on 103.9, which is currently temporarily broadcasting on 92.5.

Is the AFL on ACE their own deal or a hangover from 9Radio? There i was this afternoon sitting down to listen to my new fav music station Easy Music 2UE … and caught the worst thing I’ve heard on 2UE since the relaunch. AFL … wtf?? Thought i had the wrong station on. Flicked over to SEN 1170 and exactly the same AFL Nation call, same game. Wow 2 Sydney stations in simulcast. Not happy “No Easy Music 2UE”.

I’d certainly say hangover from Nine Radio. The radio rights deal was in 2016 and there’s been major changes since then - not least the launch of SEN Sydney, but dozens of acquisitions and changes.
It’s specifically the home market games - so in this case the Swans v GWS game went on 2UE and the Brisbane v Port and West Coast v Suns games are on 4BH this round. So there’ll likely be 2 games a round on 2UE for the whole season, with both the Swans and GWS games airing.
You’d think SEN would rather the exclusivity - honestly I reckon ACE would rather run a ‘want to listen to the AFL, switch to SEN 1170’ ad, then run the game on their station, but maybe the AFL hold them to it.
Potentially under Nine operation they might have split the DAB feed to keep with music, but maybe ACE can’t do that?
