Hereās an idea.
Keep Tamara for Sundays and Mondays (which is generally all she presents anyway).
Add Ben Knight for Tues-Sat. Then keep Alex as back up and we never have to watch Isk again, except for in absolute emergencies

Mary Gearin is doing casual presenting shifts on ABC Radio Melbourne.
(Tamara Oudyn) not sure where you got that info from, but clearly incorrect.
Iād say it was in the guides that she was presenting as she is allegedly the normal presenter and then they update later on during the week.

Given that she doesnāt work for ABC News and was given an on-air farewell, it wonāt be happening.
She works for abc radio
EPG guides were saying that she would be returning but then changed
She has been hosting the conversation hr on abc melb radio and will be hosting for the remainder of the year

I notice that he seems to be reading his autocue more deliberately and carefully now. I think he may be aware that his error rate is too high.

Which is a totally different department within the ABC. You wonāt see Mary again.
But itās so unnatural. Weird phrasing etc. You feel uncomfortable listening to him.
There are people who work for both the news and radio departments

I note that āPKā Karvelas is back in Canberra this week for Afternoon Briefingā¦So thats Canberra last week, Melb for Friday AB, back to Canberra for Insiders on Sunday, Melbourne for AB Monday, then back in Canberra for AB Tuesday!
Has anyone looked at the travel budget for her?
But their primary role and point of employment is in the News department. They turn up on radio as fill-ins, for analysis etc.
Mary is not part of News.
