I don’t mind being blown a kiss goodbye, nice to have someone with a bit of charisma reading the news. I think Tam has been a little less robotic lately too.

At the end of the day, the tweet would have upset management , and very likely they would not have just sat back and said nothing.
Internal ER stuff is exactly that, internal and private.
By all means, if he doesn’t make an appearance this month, then it’s likely a multi month suspension.
I really don’t think one would be sacked over a tweet like that, well yet. Having seen and dealt with a myriad of these internal HR matters in my own work environment, I’d be thinking he would be heading towards a ‘final warning’ type of letter, with a suspension which is currently being served.

She could do that at any other news organisation. Infact I think I saw she’s going to The Guardian. I’d say it’s lazy to just instantly go ‘SBS!’ for anybody not white to be honest, but anyway it’s irrelevant cause she can go wherever she wants.
