The ABC today announced Queensland political reporter Allyson Horn will move to the Jerusalem bureau, with current Middle East correspondent Tom Joyner relocating to Istanbul for 12 months.

Housnia Shams (Weekdays) and Issac Nowroozi (Weekends) are presenting ABC News NT due to Melissa Mackay covering the Zachary Rolfe murder trial in Darwin this month.
Housnia previously worked at ABC Sydney as a reporter, and Issac worked at ABC Canberra.
Housnia and Issac are great choices - Issac should do weekends permanently, he is far better then Amy

Been a looooong time since Paul Higgins was on air. Danny Tran would be a brilliant replacement. The woman who filled in (apologies, can’t remember her name) was a bit too forced and OTT.
