In your opinion. The ABC works very differently to the commercials.
They just have a lot of staff against the amount of content they are putting out into their regions. It’s a bit of an eye-opener after working in commercial television.
The ABC is a government agency - of course they have a lot of staff compared to the commercials.
Oh the irony of explaining to us about who this guy is, when they don’t know:
For anyone that doesn’t know; he’s not an MP, so yes, please tell me more things I need to know.
PS: I’m not sure if this the best place for this (is there a separate thread for ABC.net.au/news?)
Just saw a video credit for “Ch 2” on 10 News First Melbourne!
Maybe Paul Murray’s got a second job given News Corp‘s financial troubles
To everyone who says how does NBN, 7 Tasmania and 7 Spencer gulf choose an “local” image backdrop that represents the whole viewing area without a globe or generic graphic - this is how
Those two images are alongside water though - do you really think viewers in outback WA would connect with that?
More than a globe or red swirls, yes.
The Sunday photo is of Busselton in regional WA so I guess that somewhat counts.
ABC News websites again top the Nielsen ratings. In a shock result Daily Mail is second while News.com collapses to 6th place (The Australian drops out of the top 10).
Been caught out by time zone issues whilst in Broken Hill tonight.
Its ABC NSW here, but on Eastern time, meaning ABC News is on at 6.30 local (Central) time.
May on line results. Numbers are down on the previous month. ABC still on top with Daily Mail number 2.
Hi all,
Does anyone know if TV news in Adelaide will get a studio makeover a bit like the Sydney and Melbourne updates and when?
71% of people trust sbs news
But only 125,000 want to watch it
This is the reach of the news outlets. So ABC can say “more people gets their news from ABC than any other source” as it is higher than Facebook as well.
Its online reach is quite strong.
