A localised promo was aired tonight after the NSW News.
Meredith Sheehan has been calling it that for months despite being listed as ABC News Regional in the EPG.
Victoria needs an upgrade, not having wraparound screens around the desk is incredibly silly given itâs in breakfast mode for half the day, then it looks silly during the World too. Some of the backlighting on the panels are burnt out too.

I quite like it.
The name suits it because the program is only a weekly thing.
I just have a thing for regional shows like LandLine & The Regions

Catholic Church lodges complaint against ABC for amplifying euthanasia advocate
The Catholic Archbishop of Sydney, Anthony Fisher, has demanded an explanation from the ABC over its handling of the euthanasia debate.
Archbishop Fisher has accused the national broadcaster of breaching its editorial policy, as the controversial issue returned to the political spotlight last month, by failing to provide a diversity of views and misrepresenting the churchâs stance.
Archbishop Fisher last week wrote a detailed letter of complaint to the ABC Ombudsman, Fiona Cameron, in which he outlined the public broadcasterâs âconcerningâ lack of impartiality in its coverage of a campaign by pro-euthanasia advocate Andrew Denton for the use of telehealth to access voluntary assisted dying.
In his letter, which has been obtained by The Australian, Archbishop Fisher has cited four occasions across nine days in July when Denton â a former comedian who is the founder of charity Go Gentle Australia, a pro end-of-life choice group â was given opportunities to promote his cause.
Applications for the ABC News 2027 Cadetship are open, offering full-time positions starting in February 2027.
