That was the look prior to the overhaul.
That was before the refresh in August - this is what it looked like afterwards:

I think this is the relaunch @pelican is talking about - the ‘updated’ one coming up seems to make the backdrop a bit more stained glass-y, than at a podium of an art gallery:

You’re absolutely correct. Backdrop is completely different though.

In the UK this is commonplace, until recently BBC News would air Breakfast with this feature. Oftentimes overnight programmes are repeated with this as well.
This would have been organised by PM&C.
Can some push her chair up slightly. The desk looks too big for her.

I’ve noticed when the NC uses that set, the presenter always sit low down.
