Don’t need an account to watch porn but if you missed Vera you better believe you’re handing over your details.
Bizarre.

A miniscule amount of people who have access to iView wouldn’t have access to an email account, I think. Next to no one would be left behind.
Exactly. So why is there always people complaining about how we can’t change, for that small amount of people’s sake.
I think I’m gonna go ahead and start a new topic here: I’d just like to see what local programs are produced by what stations?
Most stations at the very least produce a breakfast show? Some produce morning shows, a few produce weekend & other misc. shows, and only a handful produce drive/arvo shows IIRC…
Nothing local comes out of Geelong unfortunately.
Mike Pritchard has retired from ABC Upper Hunter. Amelia Bernasconi takes over from July 5 - former NBN and Nine Local reporter, from Scone.
Darwin-based ABC broadcaster Charlie King has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in this year’s Queen’s Birthday honours list for significant service to the NT Indigenous community.
James Glenday hosting Saturday Afternoons.
What other ABC Classic FM stations use the 94.5 MHz frequency?
I’m listening to ABC North Coast just outside Byron bay and getting classical music (very faint) in the background.
None that I’m aware of. ABC Classic FM can have a wide bandwidth (Ref 95.3). Perhaps 95.3 also being demodulated within your receiver & also being heard on the 94.5 frequency.
Have you tried another receiver/tuner?
Is possible that problem exists with cavity filter(s) on 95.3 from Mt. Nardi or the TX itself.
ABC News Radio (Nambour/Gympie) on 94.5 may have had some classic music playing?
Mr Hawkes first joined the ABC in Brisbane in 1962 before moving to Perth, where he spent 33 years on air.
The versatile broadcaster held a number of roles, including news-reading, hosting a cooking program and a game show, and anchoring TV current affairs program Statewide.
From 1987 until his retirement in 2003, he became a well-known voice, reading ABC news bulletins and taking over from John Juan to present the 6WF(720) Breakfast session.
According to The Australian, ABC Radio Melbourne’s Virginia Trioli will have an interview with Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
Melbourne fill ins, David Astle for breakfast, Lisa Leong arvos, Bev O’Connor drive and Brian Nankervis evenings.
update: Eddie Perfect on breakfast next week, Ali Moore has been filling in for Trioli since Wednesday.
Bev O’Connor’s great. Shame she doesn’t fill in more on TV these days - used to see her on News Breakfast and 7pm
Indira Naidoo is back on Nightlife tonight after her few months off for writing a book.
Sarah Howells will now taking on presenting the ABC Sunshine Coast breakfast program, taking over from Rob Blackmore who is retiring from the organisation after 14 years.
Their announcement post is here.
Some presenter movement over the next week or so in Sydney and Brisbane.
In Sydney -
*Evenings host Sarah McDonald is on holiday for a week. Nic Healey from ABC Western Plains will be covering the program.
*Weekends host Simon Marnie is on holiday for 2 weeks.
Not sure if lockdown restrictions may impact some of the regular staffing in Sydney, due to some LGAs enforcing that people stay at home.
In Brisbane -
*Drive host Steve Austin is away for the next week. Regular Evenings presenter Kelly Higgins-Devine will be filling in.
*Ashwin Segkar will be filling on the Evenings program.
ABC Radio Hobart (and often Northern Tasmania) Drive presenter Lucy Breaden finished up on Friday afternoon for the year also as she is now on maternity leave until next year. Not sure who will be filling in now - Christopher Lawrence from Classic FM (not sure if he is still there or not but he last left ABC Local Radio for them a few years ago) has just finished filling in for Afternoons for the past 3 weeks too.
Seems to be a lot of fill ins these days and I have no idea where half the usual people have disappeared to.
