Was better as ABC 3. Nobody knows what ABC Entertains is.
ABC ME & ABC 3 were both superior.
I will die on this hill defending this.
The Cleaner Christmas Special
Thursday December 26 8:30pm
It’s Christmas Day and crime scene cleaner Wicky is looking forward to heading to the pub for Weasel’s Christmas raffle: first prize, an actual horse. All that stands in his way is a blood-soaked crime scene in an ice cream parlour, and a regular customer who isn’t going to let a little thing like a murder stop him from getting the perfect peach melba ice-cream…
I would say 2 and 3 were better in having a clean slate to build their brands which became clear very quickly. 2 has had adjustments over time which were necessary but I am not convinced the subsequent rebrands to different names over time have been necessary.
As seen on ABC Entertains

I just noticed that Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl will be airing on ABC Entertains’ morning children’s block from Monday. The first 26 (out of 189) episodes have also been added to ABC iview, and I believe this is in response to the BBC acquiring the rights to Pokémon (from season 10 onwards) within the past few years. Maybe the ABC will do the same.
The Pokémon anime has previously aired on 10, 10 Peach Comedy and 9Go! but the DP arc (seasons 10-13) has not been seen on Aussie television screens since 2013.

Not sure if they have aired on this channel before or not, but tonight, repeats of Planet America Weekend and Offsiders are airing at 9.00pm and 9.50pm respectively.
Odd choice, as they are usually repeated on ABC News, rather than on ABC Entertains.
Does Offsiders entertain?
The problem ABC faces with this change is the lack of a clearly defined content strategy. ‘Entertains’ is essentially a mix of past failed formats, with an equally vague and unhelpful name.
If ABC wants to relaunch or reformat ABC TV Plus, they should commit to a clear direction—whether that means reinstating ABC2 as a general entertainment channel or merging Kids and Big Kids into a single signal. What matters is creating well-defined spaces for content that serve a genuine purpose within a structured schedule.
