It’s both. Just like The Great Gatsby which had the same director (Baz Luhrmann) and was filmed entirely in Sydney.

Because of…?

Because of her appearance as a judge on The Masked Singer this year and Love Island Australia last year? She was one of the audience choice winners via an online vote.

My point still stands, neither of those were stand out performances enough to rank her as “best”. Maybe she had a strong army of social media fans to pump up the votes.

Because even looking at the other nominations: Adam & Symon from Gogglebox? Robert Irwin? Hamish and Andy and Dr Chris Brown at least decent nominations.

They definitely need to change the names of those audience choice awards to Most Popular rather than Best like the Logies do.

And Women’s Footy won Audience choice award for Best Sports Program. Despite its very low audience. Im surprised with Abbie’s win with the audience choice too.

Loving the fact that Tv Tonight is featured in the credits for this.

Apart from the Audience Choice Awards, the actual awards was good tonight (apart from the odd noticeable dodgy editing). A 100 times better coversge than Seven’s coversge over the years. Amanda Keller didbwell as host.

So?

The TV broadcast was a palatable length that kept you interested with the variety. Seemed to be good pacing, nothing too long. The Logies couple learn a few lessons.
