Adult Swim, Turnerâs irreverent brand of young-adult comedy, has found a new home in Australia under a syndication agreement with Nine.
9GO! will host a weekly one-hour, Adult Swim-branded, block of programs every Sunday evening, starting July 10. The Adult Swim block will feature hit shows such as Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Robot Chicken, Squidbillies and The Venture Bros. Nine has also picked up the local format rights to Adult Swimâs FishCentre, which will introduce the block each week.
The deal marks a free-to-air debut for many of these shows, including Rick and Morty, Adult Swimâs hit animation from Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, which will debut on the channel later in the year.
Robi Stanton, Turner Australiaâs General Manager, said: âAdult Swim has a great new home in Australia. This partnership announcement with Nine will no doubt excite comedy-craving late teens and young adults across the country. Adult Swim produces some of the wackiest, craziest and cheekiest shows out there, and thereâll be only one destination on Sunday late nights â and thatâs 9GO!.â

Around September weâll have Gotham Season 2 on 9GO! In Double Episodes as were far Behind the US, Nine wonât even give an Airdate.

Saw a 10-second promo tonight for Discovery Channel series Airplane Repo, coming to 9GO!. Three seasons have been made so far.
Those programming morons better not get the mights to Season 3 of Gotham as we had enough of waiting for them to hold while we still wait for season 2. I Think Netflix should air it instead.
WB content starting to dry up during the day/overnight. Replaced with shows like Yo-Kai Watch and Kate and Mim Mim. At least theyâre keeping to the kids format.
Wonât be long before Kidsâ WB is axed or renamed.
