Hope this thread is OK
Read on this article that the Survivor finale yesterday (simulcasted with CBS) was interpreted for a CBS News Special Report.
What did 9Go! do (I tried but can’t stand Survivor)? Presumably they threw to an ad break.
Thanks!
They aired a 9Honey segment for 15 minutes.
New UK show Japandemonium premieres on 9GO! this Wednesday (Christmas night) at 7.30pm with double episodes. The 6-part aired on ITV in mid 2018.
Smashdown!
Smashdown! is back for another Smashing Sporty Season
Monday 16 March at 8.00am
SMASHHDOWN! continues its search for Australia’s sportiest kid when it returns at 8.00am Monday on 9Go!
The second series of Nine’s fun-filled, fast-paced sporting game show for kids comes from the action-packed SMASHHDOWN! Stadium, which has been revamped and refreshed with new challenges, an epic obstacle course, and more thrill-seeking kid-competitors pushing their bodies to the limit to claim the title.
From an ultrasonic wind chamber to super-stretchy bungee cords and a giant ball pit with over 20,000 balls, our smashing stars will be put to the ultimate test.
To navigate their way through the SMASHHDOWN! Stadium, SMASHHDOWN!’s newest member, host Nick Allen-Ducat, will be the go-to guy. He will mentor and support the SMASHH-stars and lead an enthusiastic team of comedy characters, coaches, commentators, and the SMASHH Test Dummies.
“In this series we head north, south, east and west, and visit some super-sporty professionals to give us the tips and tricks of good sportsmanship and skill,” Nick said.
“I’m looking forward to watching some of the most talented young sporting competitors Australia has to offer. Claiming that champion’s title won’t be an easy feat, but we know Aussie kids have what it takes.”
Smashing back onto our screens again with more crazy antics and even crazier commentary are the fan favourites, Glen and Glenda Goosebump, also known as actors Michael Balk and Briana Goodchild.
“It’s always great to have a front-row seat to the organised chaos of the SMASHHDOWN! Stadium,” said Michael Balk. “But in this series Glen and Glenda get out from behind the commentary desk and visit the junior sporting clubs of Australia.”
“We also have a great time with themed episodes,” Briana added. “After all, there’s nothing the Goosebumps like more than throwing themselves into costumes from around the world to show our SMASHDDOWN! Spirit.”
Tune in on weekdays from Monday, March 16, at 8.00am on 9Go! The SMASHHDOWN! series two trophy is waiting to be won.
Does anyone know the name of the song that used to be used in 9Go! promos?
Is it a custom theme?
100% sure it’s Noise International production music and not intended to be a “proper” song, unlike what happened in 2009.
The episode of the Pokemon anime where Ash wins a Pokemon League for the first time will make its FTA debut tomorrow. The episode became infamous for gaining news attention months before the English dubbed episode premiered in the USA, so just read about it before you watch it.
Looking at the advance guide for the week commencing 5th April, 9Go! will air Malcolm In The Middle from Monday 6th April at 6-7pm Mondays-Thursdays. Whilst it was originally on Nine, the show had been repeated on Ten/Eleven over the past decade.
TBBT is still being repeated at 7-7:30pm Mondays-Thursdays. Interestingly, after the series finale was repeated last Monday, they didn’t rewind back to the very beginning of the series, but instead rewind back to just Season 10. This would mean that Nine (again) no longer has the repeat rights to Seasons 1-9.
If I were 10, I’d grab the rights to seasons 1-9 and air them weeknights at 6pm leading into Neighbours and at least 1 weeknight at 9pm on 10Peach.
Considering they have many WB comedies now I’d say that’s the plan for 10Peach.
I remember this aired in 10 during summer non-ratings (back when Neighbours was still on the main channel and was rested during this time), I watched a lot of it, really got into the show, including on Eleven/10 Peach a few years ago too. I didn’t watch Nine’s run.
The show is now out of the schedule, to be replaced by movies that start from around 5pm this week. This also applies for the following week.
9Go! Newcastle - channel blacked out for 1 min with 30 sec interval.
At 7:52pm, anywhere in the nation.
Same again at 7:59pm
Malcolm In The Middle repeats is scheduled to commence from Monday 20th April at 6-7pm Mondays-Thursdays.
A question, where did you get that info from?
I can’t go that far in any tv guide site that I visited.
TV Tonight has the advanced guides on their page by going to Programming on the top menu & then click on Guides. After that, go to 9Go! April 19.
New guides are released every Sunday there.
Okay, thanks.
