That got my attention this morning too. Those content boxes were there before but the design and colours are different.

It looks better. The red makes it obvious which one you’re watching.

would be great to see 800 words back on 7plus. currently only the first 2 seasons are avaliable on other streaming plaforms.

Has anyone ever experienced it when a show on 7+ will just play through completely without showing any ads? Is that a feature or a glitch?

It has happened to me occasionally since I began watching something on it recently.

It’s happened on 7plus and 10play too recently.

Yeah i saw an update on 10 Play and the notes mentions

“This new update features some exciting new features including an ad holiday that prevents users from seeing large blocks of ads when scrubbing through content”

Not sure what scrubbing through means.

I have an Apple TV.

I know on SBS on Demand if i exit after the ads and go back in again the ads disappear
Sometimes on I think SBS on Demand just before the ad break point if i scroll fast enough it skips the ads.

If i do the same on 7Plus the 3mins of ads becomes under a min

Scrubbing is to scan up and down the timeline of a video, in this case on-line. Term was originally used in video editing suites and later software to quickly scan a video for content to find where edits were to be made. It gained popularity with YouTube users to describe quickly scanning through a video.

7plus have Big Brother Canada season 9 episodes. Anyone know if 7plus will be streaming Big Brother Canada season 10 episodes March to May, and if so how soon after the 3 episodes per week air in Canada will they are here?

Any chance 7plus (or 9now/10play) pick up the USA Celebrity Big Brother season 3 episodes airing Feb 2-23 (15 eps), or USA Big Brother season 24 likely airing June to September?

I noticed BB Canada the other day. I wasn’t too sure if it was similar to the new BB Australia format or they have actual conversations other than strategy.

Seven have been working hard on this kind of thing, it is the future IMO.

Watching 9-1-1 on 7Plus on the Apple TV.

There are 5 adbreaks the first is 3mins 56.

Are they serious so if each ad break is that long that’s 20mins of ads !

I exited out and then back in again and it dropped to a more bearable 46secs.

Almost better off waiting until it goes to Disney+

What’s even worse is how you have to watch ads before the programs start now, even the news.

Surprised with all these extra streaming channels that they don’t have 7 news and 7 sport.

Well playing old news isn’t good and they don’t have the live-streaming/catch-up rights to a lot of their sport.

True, but I don’t see a problem where they have a 7 News channel that begins with the Early News and Sunrise live, then repeat Sunrise until Morning News live, then repeat Morning News until Afternoon News, etc etc. They could then roll through each state’s 6pm bulletin from 7pm. Perhaps they could place a ‘Repeat’ watermark somewhere on-screen to remove all doubt that the repeat bulletins are live.

Prompted by a new promo shown during Seven News Melbourne, I checked out 7plus homepage and noticed it had added several pop-up streaming channels, including Moviesphere, Better Homes and Gardens, Supercars, Blue Heelers, Big Brother, PeopleTV (from People Magazine US), and even Holey Moley and Ultimate Tag.

Yes I just saw a promo in Brisbane for the streaming channels and thought I’d have a look too

Wonder what took so long for them to advertise these. They’ve been up for over a year now.

Many have been up since the Olympics but I did notice a lot of new ones the other night when I looked, wasn’t sure when they had appeared.

MovieSphere, DUST and Love Nature are pretty recent additions. So now they have a total of 12 actual linear channels:

  • ausbiz
  • DUST
  • Fuel TV
  • Gusto TV
  • iwonder
  • Love Nature
  • MovieSphere
  • Nashville Channel
  • Olympic Channel
  • Outdoor Channel
  • PAC-12 Network
  • PeopleTV

The other channels like Blue Heelers, Better Homes, TCR Replays etc are just never ending playlists from 7+'s on-demand libraries.
