New very long 7Plus promo (more like an ident) just aired after the Morning News with the new female V/O, literally going through every US show they have with the new graphics. Looked good, but a bit too long IMO.
The new â7+â logo has appeared on the desktop website.
Yuck. Whatâs wrong with the old 7plus logo?
and not all of the shows have the new 7+ watermark on them as yet
I much prefer it, Iâve always thought the word Plus looked really strange.
I feel the + could have been pink (Flix) blue (mate) red (7) and orange (two) to represent all the channels
Good idea. I mentioned it in the Seven On Air Presentation thread a couple of weeks ago:
âWould be cool if the four parts of the cross were the colours of the 4 channels⌠red, orange, blue and pink.â
Agree. Sadly 7 lacks any smarts or creativity with its branding
The plus reminds me of the logo to tell you something is hospital grade disinfectant/ cleaner etc
It just means Red Cross to me.
I was thinking the same thing. They are lucky not to get a âplease explainâ letter from Red Cross.
The Red Cross emblem is not a logo nor a trademark. Rather, as the universal emblem of protection in armed conflict, its use is restricted under international humanitarian law and in turn by Australian law.
In Australia, the use of the red cross emblem without the written permission of the Minister for Defence is a breach of the law.
Help us ensure the integrity of the emblem by acting responsibly and within the law. Refrain from misusing the red cross emblem and honour its unique and protective meaning.

It changed on Apple TV as well, to a white 7+ on a red background.
(Iâd actually forgotten I had that app installed, think Iâve only ever used it once and it was a horrible experience, just like watching 7 really!)
Updated on Fetch. 7+ looks weird next to 9Now, 10play, ABC iview, SBS ondemand.
ETA: 7+ mobile app update also available now.
Seems to me that Seven requires you to log in to catch up on âpremium showsâ. Big Brother was just the start. However you can catch up on Better Homes and Gardens and overseas shows, like last nightâs premiere of Liar season 2, without an account.
The promo for Dawsonâs Creek on 7Plus has been re-done, with footage from the show now in its original 4:3 aspect ratio on the promo.
The one that had been on high rotation had footage from the show stretched to full screen and it looked really grainy, donât know why they acted, but mustâve realised.
I notice 7Plus are streaming Resurrection.
Some may remember a heavily promoted US fantasy-sci fi-mystery drama from 6 years ago from their old Disney output, during the 2014 Aus Open and MKR, airing from March that year. It launched to a huge 1.91m metro and even beat then top-rating MKR (as a lot of Sevenâs new shows were such as Revenge and INXS).
I remember the promos and ending up watching it, but I think I stopped watching after some eps and was disappointed. It had veteran Hollywood actress and former wife of Clint Eastwood Frances Fisher.
7Plus have uploaded âThe Guernseyâ (2018) which premiered on air last night, available for a month. Itâs featured on the transitioning home page. Non-major distributors (in this case Studiocanal compared to say WB) seems to be the way to go if FTA broadcasters want movie rights on their bvod services
Foxtel or svod players seem to have all the major studios tied up when it comes to video on demand / OTT movie rights.
Did Seven refer to it as that or did you? The cinema release and advertising for it used the correct and full title.
