you might have noticed that the thread is now split from RandomMocks - this is because I feel that I want to actually work on this as an ongoing project instead of a once-off thing.
One of the updates is that I haved decided to rename 7 Nightly News. While it would’ve been good to see that name revived, I think it might pay off for there to be some cross promotion with the new SWM publication - The Nightly, so here it is! It’s an evening news show in the style of BBC Newsnight.

Surprised they haven’t done this already, just stream NBC News Now most of the time and sub in their current live news programmes as a simulcast and maybe do a live news programme from 7-10pm each evening.

It will be interesting to see wether down the track we start seeing live feeds of CNN, BBC world news ect pop up. On the FTA platforms.
