Taking a shot at adulting

Vanderpump Rules alums reunite in The Valley on 7Bravo and 7plus

Growing up doesn’t always mean settling down, as proven in new series The Valley, premiering 8.30pm Tuesday, October 8 on 7Bravo and 7plus.

Follow Vanderpump Rules alums Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute and their friend group as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the San Fernando Valley; all while navigating bustling businesses, rocky relationships, and feisty friendships.

The Valley trails the lives of five couples: Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, Kirsten Doute and Luke Broderick, Danny and Nia Booko, Jesse and Michelle Lally, and Jason and Janet Caperna. Joining the series as friends are Jasmine Goode and Zack Wickham.

Here are the highlights of what’s to come:

  • To the outside world, Jax and Brittany have an idyllic family life with their two-year-old son, Cruz, but looks can be deceiving. While Jax is aiming to diversify his family’s finances with a new bar and company, Brittany is struggling with a lack of self-confidence and attempting to reignite the couple’s flame.

  • After dating for over a year, Kristen and Luke have taken the leap to move in together. As they continue to work towards their shared goal of starting a family, questions begin to arise about the strength and authenticity of their relationship. When Kristen makes some damaging accusations about another couple in the group, she finds herself in hot water as the group takes sides. Can Kristen move past her “pot-stirring” old ways, or will bad habits get in the way of all of her relationships?

  • Danny and Nia’s lives changed dramatically when they had their twin girls. As parents of three kids under two years old, their hands are – quite literally – full. Constantly sleep deprived, emotionally drained and overwhelmed, the couple is looking to move out of their two-bedroom condo and figure out their new normal. With Nia wanting to stay close to their friends in the Valley and Danny wanting to move farther away for more space, divisions in the group threaten the couple’s attempts to stay neutral.

  • Jason and Janet have their first baby on the way, and they couldn’t be more excited. While Janet’s type-A personality has her overpreparing for the baby’s arrival both logistically and emotionally, Jason is approaching the big day with a sense of ease that is causing friction between the two. Janet finds herself caught in the middle of the drama after Kristen exposes a rumour, jeopardising their five-year friendship.

  • A couple of almost 10 years, Jesse and Michelle have been through it all, or so they thought. After the birth of their daughter, Isabella, Jesse and Michelle began to disagree more often and found their marriage at a breaking point. Determined to do the work to repair their relationship and their joint real estate business, Jesse and Michelle will need to curtail personal desire and fend off group gossip for the sake of their family.

  • Jasmine is settling into her next chapter of life and is now working to get her real estate career off the ground under Michelle’s mentorship. Although she isn’t looking to have kids at this moment, she’s hoping for a family someday with her girlfriend Melissa.

  • A longtime friend of Brittany and Kristen, and the only single member of the group, Zack is finding his own place and voice in a more “mature” world.

While this group navigates the next stage in their lives, they realise that the drama isn’t far behind. When rumours start to swirl within the group, friendships are put to the test, as they question who they can really trust and have by their side.

The Valley is produced by 32 Flavors Entertainment, Haymaker East and Evolution Media, an Amazon MGM Studios company. Alex Baskin and Jeff Festa executive produce for 32 Flavors Entertainment. Vanderpump Rules SURvers pick up the pieces post Scandoval

The former SURvers attempt to pick up the pieces in the wake of scandal when Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules premieres 9.30pm Tuesday, 5 November on 7Bravo and 7plus.

With resentments, forgiveness and shifting alliances, the friends attempt to navigate lines drawn in the sand while rebuilding friendships, developing their businesses and healing from past relationships.

Returning for Season 11 are Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwarts. James’ girlfriend, Ally Lewber and Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies, return as well.

Unmissable Vanderpump Rules moments this season:

  • As a mentor, ally and confidant to the group, Lisa Vanderpump is working to restore some peace between two feuding exes as she attempts to provide perspective. With the closing of West Hollywood mainstay PUMP, Lisa is refocusing her expertise on opening a new restaurant in Lake Tahoe and continuing her success with additional ventures in Las Vegas.

  • Ariana Madix’s life was turned upside down after a devastating breakup, but she’s determined to make the best of a difficult situation. Although she still shares a home with her ex, Ariana is moving on and dating a new long-distance boyfriend. While working to open the doors to her and Katie’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, Ariana is embracing the countless opportunities that have come her way, from a stint on Dancing with the Stars to a new cocktail book.

  • Recently proclaimed #1 guy in the group, James Kennedy’s friendships within the circle are stronger than ever and his DJ career is booming. He bought a house in the Valley and is settling into suburban life with his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, along with their cat and a dog from James’ past.

  • With more distance from her divorce, Katie Maloney is exploring life as a single woman and dating, even if her pursuits strike too close to home for her ex-husband, Tom. A previous indiscretion comes to light and threatens to upend her and Scheana’s renewed friendship as well as her cordial post-divorce relationship with Tom. With permit hold-ups and ongoing issues, Something About Her is a work in progress, and opening a restaurant is proving to be more challenging than anticipated.

  • Lala Kent is still in the middle of a challenging custody battle, but being the best mom to Ocean remains her priority. Wanting to give her daughter a sibling, Lala explores fertility treatments and looks for a sperm donor as a single mother. She finds an unlikely connection with Tom Schwartz, forming a friendship that neither saw coming, but creating tension between her and the rest of the girls as her forgiveness for the Toms grows.

  • Celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary, Scheana Shay and husband Brock Davies are struggling to connect as they leave the honeymoon stage and settle into their life with a toddler. Scheana works on new music as a way to express herself and cope with her postpartum OCD. She finds herself straddling the lines in the sand within the group as she navigates her relationships with her longtime friends, and feuding exes, Ariana and Tom.

  • In the aftermath of a scandal that changed his romantic relationships, dynamics within the group and the success of his businesses, Tom Sandoval is working on bettering himself. In a fragile state, he focuses on repairing the foundations of his friendships. When he isn’t on the road touring with his band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, he and Ariana live under the same roof locked in a stalemate for the house.

  • Tom Schwartz is mending a challenged friendship after taking the heat for his part in his best friend’s shocking deception. Embracing a new identity, Tom bleaches his hair, evades exclusivity with a friend-potentially-turned-girlfriend, and winds up in a surprising love triangle with a new flame and his ex-wife.

Vanderpump Rules is produced by Evolution Media. Alex Baskin, Jen McClure-Metz, Joe Kingsley, Jeremiah Smith, Natalie Neurauter, Lisa Vanderpump, and Ken Todd as executive producers.
