Continuing on from my post in the random thread, some ideas about 7News absorbing Prime’s news operations, and also launching new bulletins. Would also be cool if 7 made a play for SCA’s affiliated stations (and Win SA) to give them 100% coverage.
Would GWN consider renaming their news service as “7 West News” both as similar to the Gold Coast QLD service and a bit of a nod to their “Golden West News” era?

No… Seven would likely stay with the historical GWN News brand, similar to how Nine has kept NBN News brand.

No so sure. Seven wiped out the Sunshine TV News brand in Queensland when they bought the station.
I’m fairly confident the Prime7 and GWN News brands would be replaced with 7 NEWS (city)

Why “7 News Across WA”? Sounds more like a V/O or a promo tagline than a bulletin name.
just trying to come up with something to differentiate between the Perth and regional bulletins.

if this is a mock title card for a 7 news bulletin for Mount Gambier, then the answer to your question is no.
The aspect is wrong, logo is too big and the black text doesn’t work. Also they wouldn’t give it the suffix of just Mount Gambier, it’d be South-East or something. The background image also doesn’t match the (now former) style.
